    Oh, geez, it never dawned on me to judge the size of hole a drill bit makes based on the shaft side of the bit. My father always just looked at stuff and knew. Thanks for filling that info gap.

    Hi Chris from Bonnie Scotland. Thanks for this informative video. I have been thinking of exactly the same sort of thing with these poles. I haven't used any Helium and not keen to get involved with the added expense myself. I had thought of running chord, or 260(s) inside the length of the pole sections and tie off at the stand's base but much along similar lines as yourself. All the best to you and yours.

    Hi Chris how did you attach the smaller balloons to the 3ft, before you attached to the not lamp or after. Did you attach the tassel before or after the 3ft. Can’t seem to get it to sit properly.

    Hi Chris, thank you for sharing this great idea with us. Would you still be able to add a collar or anything to the bottom?

    • @Balloonpro
      @Balloonpro  5 років тому +1

      Of course you could :) That would look great.

    • @Balloonpro
      @Balloonpro  5 років тому +1

      If you had a collar then you may not need the not lamp connection ontop, the collar itself supports the 3ft.

    Thanks Chris! Any thoughts on how to use this if someone were wanting a clear pole such as a Plexi pole?

    • @Balloonpro
      @Balloonpro  5 років тому +1

      I'm sure that would work, you would have to fabricate something.

    Which support weight can be used for 90cm balloons??
    Last month, I bought 90cm balloons from eBay but went failed because of much weight tassels that cannot hold enough for 90cm balloon helium.

    Has anyone tried the technique with a NOT lamp from Germany? I can not get the socket of the light bulb.

    That bit that comes out when you put it in the vice is not shifting at all! I bought from ikea Uk and have 2 and both the same but I have no vice and I’m pretty weak but tried pliers etc and nothing getting it out. Any tips? Or anyone else had same problem and overcome it?

      it is crazy how hard it was for me to get mine out. I cut the cord, showing a little ikea key into the hole, using the key to stop it from turning with my hip while I used all my strenght to twist the "collar" with both hands and eventually it came loose, but no way it was easy like in the video^^ I felt like the hulk screaming "I'm not a quitter!" XD

      I grabbed a towel and held the bulb fixture in my left hand. I turned the black metal ring towards my body (counter-clockwise). Like Therese said, I almost gave up several times. It takes a few hulk-like moments to get it done :-D
