The pilot took the job since it didnt involve killing anyone but he was forced to kill the crew on one of the air ships

2:42 I'm glad that there is a first aid kit since it is often neglected in fictions despite of it's important role. This one is very similar to British/Canadian first-aid kits of armoured corps. Clearly not American nor Japanese due to colors and absence of paper grids.
When a pilot flys he is focused on the enemy infront of him
but
when a skilled pilot Flys he is not only focused on one enemy...he is looking everysinlge enemy on the field keeping himself and his beauty safe
Actually a pretty interesting story behind this song. A Luftwaffe pilot decided to escort a B1 bomber the had been heavily damaged back to safety. Both pilot's later became best friends years later.
@@erching12 Wasn't it a B-17? At least that's what they sing of in the song I believe (Also B-1 wasn't even a thing during the time that what we know depict as the Luftwaffe existed)

Great and underappreciated AMV. As much of a loveletter for "The Princess and the Pilot" as the anime itself is a loveletter for aviation and sky.

@@mauser98kar i know this is VERY late but do you have any recommendations? I also like those genres/series but i can barely find any.
@@senko824 I doubt I will come up with much. But "Laputa: Castle in the sky" by Studio Ghibli is shining example of Dieselpunk and third section of "Memories" by Katsuhiro Otome could count as well.
As for the games - pretty much any game taking place during Interbellum or WWII that also has super-science elements to it counts. Wolfenstein series, especially New Order. Yes it could count as Atompunk (atomic power, early Cold War time period), but its overall aesthetic is heavily based on earlier period, so, to me at least, it counts as Dieselpunk. Or something in between. But Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is 100% match. It takes place during WWII and is even richer with aesthetics of that era.

Not extra fuel. The world in this anime has hydrogen batteries that run on water. The plane can literally land down, suck in sea water and it's ready to go. In the light novel, Charles (the MC, pilot dude) half-jokingly told Fana (the girl) that if she's careless, her "things" can be sucked up as well.

I watched that one almost ten times. I did read novel and I learned that he empty ALL gold out bag. (shocked) as I thought he keep some of them.
На самом деле очень интересный летательный аппарат. Двигатель судя по всему турбовинтовой, крыло чайка с углом наклона +- 30 градусов (может обеспечить хороший угол рыскания), интересный киль и стабилизатор, так ещё и с возможностью посадки на воду! Чудо а не самолёт! Правда как такой центровать хух его знает😢
Бля только ща заметил кабину бортового стрелка и тормозные щитки.

The LN shows me that they made Charles and Fana look much older than their actual age lol. Charles is ok, but Fana looks like she's in her mid 20s while according to the LN, she's only 18. Also the anime changed Santa Cruz's design, though I like the anime version more.

While the anime & the song are a good pairing, I don't think you chose the right moments for this AMV. It would make more sense to focus on the Pilot Dog sparing the Santa Cruz from his wingmen, and their duel to decide the fate of the mission.

Naw it's fits at the point there are planes but the story has nothing the same with the original cuz this songs is about an real story from an German pilot who guided a total damaged British bomber at home he escorts him to the border and then fly away
Hello mate. In reality, it was December 20, 1943, between a German Me109 and a wrecked 8th Air Force B 17. Years later, both pilots would meet

its a bf 109 that escorted the b17 halfway past the channel and then returned, meeting a few years later

It looks like an Nakajima Ki-87 but I'm not too sure.

Well that's the thing... I didn't.
The scenes where there were subs I just kinda zoomed in... not really a grand solution but I found it does the trick most of the time.
