When I was a medical receptionist I lived 5 minutes away from the office and we got a full hour for lunch, so I always went home. I also needed to let my dog out so it was perfect. I'm currently job hunting and most of the new jobs are about 20 minutes away, so I won't be going home for lunch anymore, but I really enjoyed it at the time as it saved me money on ordering out for lunch and I could do small chores like transferring laundry, etc. Have a great weekend!!
Hey! After watching for a couple years I think I would really enjoy hearing you talk more about specifics of how you keep your life so organized. I know you’ve showed us before how you budget and shop and things like that but learning the routines and methods of someone like you would benefit a lot of people. Have a great day!!!
You are so pretty and your mom is absolutely stunning. I love how organized you are and very transparent. Thank you for such great vlogs.
Wow your mom is so beautiful yall look like sisters.
I’m an esthetician as well as a new medical assistant which is how I found you lol but anyways you can use diluted tea tree oil to help heal your piercing. I typically use cotton swabs and antibacterial dial liquid soap to clean it then I’ll drop a few drops of tea tree oil on a cotton swab and run it under the faucet then rub it on my piercing area. Be careful bc if it’s not done enough it could burn your ear, essential oils are very strong, if you accidentally burn yourself then use coconut oil on those areas. And thank you for the tips!
I'm an Esthetician and a MA as well! I love meeting people who are both!! :)
I’m an esthetician mostly a nail tech but I’m going to school this fall for medical assistant. I haven’t worked with my esthetician license but I do want to work at a dermatologist or medspa eventually. Im tired of being in a nail salon.
You are very smart Rachel.
I have to do my cleaning routine at night !! I can’t start my day with clutter, dirty dishes, clothes laying around etc. Idk 🤷♀️ it just makes the morning smoother and not soo stressful knowing … oh look at all this stuff I have to do.
hey 🙋🏾♀️ night shift nurse and i definitely have gotten into the habit of cleaning at night before i go to sleep on my off days and before i go to work when i work that way i wake up and come home to aclean kitchen 😊
This is random, but your scrubs are so cute! I also thing it is super interesting to hear your tips on getting a job in this field, I don't think its for me, but still interesting!
Your mom is so pretty! Also I'd like to request more Vinny content pls
Awwww….
These are great tips Rachel! Thank you for sharing! 🤓
Hello Rachel... I just wanted to say I think You are grounded!! And how You put God first!! Is Soo phenomenal!! I love Your demeanor!! Keep going and stay strong!!! Love ya
Thank you so much!!
Hi, I really enjoy your videos and what you're sharing, but to be honest, you being sponsored by this portal seems to be a little off for me. You worked for your dad, now you work for your mom, so you don't have much experience in applying for jobs/ With that, those videos you are sharing are more guesses than something you tried and it worked :(
Eh, she's hired and interviewed people so she's been on the other side of it. I think it makes sense to give advice as the employer too.
Well said, I’ve used indeed almost every day for years, so this feels like one of the most natural brands to work with for me! Also, I’m promoting their UA-cam channel which has SO many resources for career oriented individuals. They have videos on how to succeed at your current job, not just how to GET a job 🙂
@@RachelVinn Thanks for your comment. From your previous videos it seemed to me like you only helped to fill 1 or 2 positions at your dad's and same at your mom's so I didn't see the conenction between you and indeed. With your comment it's way more clear.
@@RachelVinnYou explained that so well. Another reason why I love your content. My heart was a little sad cause it felt like the OP was discrediting your experience/work because of your family connections. But this was a very respectful interaction and response 💕
You sound like a hater lol
I sometimes do cleaning in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings 🤷🏼♀️ It depends on my mood and energy level.
Thank you for your content ❤ Have a nice weekend 🎉
Thanks for sharing!!
I think this is the most helpful video I've watched here.
Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Have a great weekend, Rachel!❤❤❤❤
You too!!
Whewwwww I definitely appreciate your honesty. Most morning routines are so fabricated 😅
The way you are with Vinny is the way I am with my cat, Fígaro (Fig ❤️) he looks the same as Vinny and the “What are you looking at?” Made me laugh haha
I love that name 🥹
Not sure if you have a Mezeh in your area or if you've been, but it's only ~$7 a bowl and it's so good and healthy :)
I rather do my cleaning routing on my work days that way I have nothing to do/worry on my days off. I also had a infected piercing a while ago, so annoyed I had to take it out, hope yours heal 🫶🏼
Love your video. One meaningful that I mastered is to make my bed when I get up. 😊
Happy Friday Rachel, you are the world's best medical receptionist thank you for these helpful tips❤❤❤!
you are so sweet!
She is!
I love how your videos stop my productivity 😂 wharever i'm doing I stop to watch you!❤❤❤❤😊
That's your mom? She looks like your sister. You both are so pretty
Your mom is gorgeous 💖
Your mom is gorgeous!
I try not to leave dishes overnight but I usually tidy up in the morning because I have more energy.
I love this video. His response was beautiful. I just learn something I really appreciate it
Great video, thanks for the tips. Sending good energy your way. ❤❤
I like doing my routine before going to bed because I cant wakeup early enough to do it in the morning
Before bed. Love waking up to a clean space😊
I show up for Rachel’s sass #queen
Great tips but what do you say if the interviewer tells you that you should stick with where you are experienced? I’ve been working retail for years and I’m trying to get out of it. I’ve gotten that comment before.
I would say that although I'm very good at what I do, retail is not my passion & I think I could bring so much more to the table in a career that I'm passionate about! Plus I took this class and i can apply my knowledge... etc
I started orff in retail at walmart, was good at what I did, but I got informed and went to school to become a MA, took 2 years but I love this so much more and im good at this too! You should def ignore them and go for it! If your interested in MA or working in a doctor office I have an awsome ebook that will help and give you more information. Its in my bio. Good luck!
definitely love this work day vlog
I go home everyday for lunch; I work at the property that I live so it’s a 1-2 min drive home lol 4 min walk lol
I’m sure you’ve mentioned this a thousand times but I also checked your “home” highlight on Instagram and didn’t see it but where did you get your bed frame!?
Really nice and informative video! lol I agree with your mom, your body is just not liking the piercing.
girl your mom is beautiful
The medical assistants at my medical center I work at sometimes don’t listen or read my emails that I as a receptionist need them to do
I usually clean before I go to bed. because I like making a cup of Coffee in the morning and be able to sit and relax before going to work and not have housework to tend to when I get home. but! there has been nights I say screw it also lol
Hello Rachel thank you for your vlog it's helping a lot❤
Glad it was helpful!
You and your Mom are both gorgeous ❤
where is your mom from??? her accent is so cute
Whatever Dr Bartos says goes
So, I want to just add that this is dependent on states and individual organizations. I live in a state that you do have to have licensing, certifications, and even continuing education credits every two to three years. So, for medical assistance, you need school & education. Secondly, this video showed something super important. RESEARCH who you are applying to. So many people do not do that. Values, ethics, and company goals are so important to correlate to yourself and why you would be a great fit for that role. Sell yourself, lol
Btw, the first portion of my comment is because RMA roles and uncertified roles exist in some states.
Awww. Your mom seems cool 😂
Hey Rachel take care , God Bless U !!
Use saline spray
I went to college with the guy interviewing in the indeed video. That was so random to see 😂
Hahahahha no wayyyyy
Luv this vlog! Does your mom have a dermatologist referral for southern California by chance? Thanks!
Quest peanut butter cups are 🔥
I don’t think I could ever work out in gyms omg the amount of people at LA Fitness be giving me anxiety 😥
Hello 🤗 love your video! Also what are your thoughts on going for certified medical administrative assistant certificate with electronic health records specialist certification as well? Or is the EHR certificate not really needed?
Need to convert to the broccoli life
"You know what I mean, Vinnie" 😂 Btw, I would get rid of that stubborn earring - if your body doesn't accept it, why struggle & force it?
Hi Rachel! What bag are you using?

I absolutely love my piercing but same it never healed and i didnt have to take it out 😭😭😭 buttttt if you are wanting a no issues piercing try thr dalith!

The other day I found a cockroach in my room, which we haven’t seen such thing since we renovated meaning years and things were good but then that happened. I cried. Hysterically 😂
