I'm happy to have found a church that's very much a traditional little country church. NO Hillsong, Bethel, or Elevation material at our church -- just hymns from the Heavenly Highway Hymns hymnal.
A local “church” here in the UK had a Willy wonka themed Christmas service and in the promo video for the service the pastor said himself he can’t tell if he’s in a church or a nightclub as if that was a good thing 🤯 Breaks my heart seeing some leaders disregard our Lord and glorify themselves instead 🙏
You are 100% correct. It is heartbreaking to see so many Christians deceived - ignoring lyrics of songs (the music itself doesn't bother me). I used to purchase Hillsong and Bethel music without thinking it through - all those CD's later went into the trash - I hate knowing I supported those groups!
I witnessed this personally. My Aunt invited me to the Christmas program at her church last year. I used to attend that church 20 years ago. It was a powerhouse for the Lord. I didn't even recognize the place anymore. They were passing out latte's and doughnuts which people were taking into the sanctuary. The pre service music was Jingle Bell Rock and I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. The program had nothing whatsoever to do with Christ. I excused myself early. How do I persuade my Aunt to get out of there?
So many churches falling by the wayside. Preparing the stage for the Antichrist. Pray for her and don’t directly attack that church but bring up some truths to counteract what you saw there and hopefully common sense and the Holy Spirit will work on her.
I have an aunt who was very involved with Rhema Bible Church (in south Africa) and I had already come out of a Pentecostal Assemblies of God. After many years when we left them, the Lord took us to a conservative, Baptist where expository teaching was preached at every sermon. As I was learning, I began sending her sermons of solid Biblical Expository preachers, like Alistair Begg, Steven Lawson and John MacArthur etc. She used to love Beth Moore, Joyce Meyer and TD Jakes to mention but a few. Her change in appetite changed slowly over a few years as the Lord taught her the error of what she was listening to and following. Now she sees the difference and does not go near any of her old heretics. Most of all, pray for your aunt. Bless you for your love of the Lord and of your love of her.
The world hasn't merely "come into" the church; it has TAKEN OVER. The Great Apostasy is in full swing as we speak, and then the man of sin will be revealed, followed by the Great Tribulation. Our faith is about to be tested like never before.
This is disturbing. In australia this year a church put on community carols and the general public was in uproar because there was too much Jesus and bible readings in it!!!!!! p.s. honestly surprised that there were no clips from Transformation Church!
Many years ago at a community Carol service in Australia (I don't celebrate Christmas anymore) I remember a lady, from CHURCH loudly saying "this is not the place for this". What was she talking about? A Pastor gave the gospel message.😶
What is disturbing? Catholics hijacked the 25th and claim it as theirs? The pagans have more right to claim this holiday. Us Christians saying Christmas is about Jesus is like LGBT saying rainbows represent their movement. Uhhh no you came later.
I enjoy secular Christmas music...in the car or while I'm shopping, not in church. My husband and I once visited a new church the week before Christmas. I should have known we were in for a rocky ride when they had a selfie booth in the lobby and earplugs in the vestibule beside the bulletins. They did a hard rock version of The Twelve Days of Christmas, Jingle Bells, Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer and I'll be Home for Christmas. Full rock band, laser lights and stage smoke. Then there was no sermon. Just a video projected on the screens about how the church members should give generously in the new year to help build their new satellite campus 🤦 We never went back.
Sounds like a church I used to attend some time ago. Last I checked on their website and UA-cam channels, they've slid down that slope even more. We should implement the "Jesus" test when evaluating worldliness in churches. Rapid fire questions about Jesus and the Gospel. No chance for a witty answer. Just basic Christian truth questions. If they hesitate or shy away from answering... next.
The Great Falling Away in the Bible. They have fallen from teaching , preaching and singing holy anointed praise and worship songs. Taking Christ put of everything. But we are the elect of God and will not be fooled or tolerate that which is evil . Those older ones who been in church for years should no better. Christ didn't bend for sin to get anyone in to the synagogue. They better leave for those demons jump on them and they accept a lie .
Jesus never separated the secular from sacred. The church is the body; not a building. What is wrong inside the “church” is also wrong outside the “church”
Hillsong is definitely in competition with the Cheesest Las Vegas Act.. How in the World can anyone attend something like this and Honestly say... "I went to Church Today" ❓

Brother Todd, thanks for turning on the light 💡 and exposing the worldly, unbiblical services at so-called churches. This video was like like nails on a chalkboard. We all needed to see it, though.
Brother Todd, we need more like you who declare that our God is a HOLY God ...not an amusement. I left a church when skits, plays and activities replaced Bible teaching sermons. Independent churches lack checks and balances so they can replace bible preaching with goofy game show skits and saddest of all is that the congregations enjoy this nonsense. Please keep on keeping on, Brother.
Years ago in my walk with Christ, I always felt that alot of contemporary Christian music was kind of worldly. Then I started hearing how many performer's starting falling into sin. Even today we're seeing people like Amy Grant support some sinful lifestyles.
This makes me grateful for my church’s respectful and Christ centered Advent Hymn service. It consisted of hymns, Bible readings, and the choir. We had two other churches come. It was nice to meet other Christians in the area.
It’s not about religion, it’s 100% about a relationship with Christ. A ‘true’ relationship with Christ that reflections Romans 10:9 is thee essential component. Variety comes into play whereas my relationship with Christ may not look the same as someone else’s because the relationship is personal.

It's actually calculated to be in September, but the Lord never said to celebrate His birthday nor His death or resurrection. The only thing He told us to do in remembrance of Him was to take the bread and wine. The Lord's supper(Holy Communion)

It's sad that people in these so called churches can be so lost or deceived. You would think that one should come to their senses as they spend countless hours preparing these elaborate and flashy sets and eventually say "what on earth are we doing?". However I must remember that only God can renew hearts and give them the gift of true faith and repentance. The sad part is many in these churches think they are saved while endorsing these pagan practices in the church. I once heard that the hardest person to share the gospel with is someone who thinks they are already saved but there is indication they are not.
I'm thankful I'll be praising the Lord at my church by playing in the hand bell choir and singing carols and hymns that glorify the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
A few years back I was taken to a church on Christmas Eve. We went in the back entrance, admittedly, and walked through a lovely corridor of snack vending machines. We took our nice, comfy, theater-style seats (with cup holders, of course). The "service" opened with a great rendition of Winter Wonderland. The "sermon" was some stuff about how we all have things in our lives that we know we need to change (like being a bit overweight) ... My mind was just screaming "Leave Babylon!".
He is God, He doesnt get stronger or weaker and His power does NOT depend on us, we are dirt literally, but there are times when you strongly feel His presence and other times when you dont
Where is "christmas" in the scriptures? We are not given the date of Yeshua's birth nor are we commanded anywhere to keep it. Ironically it is a pagan rooted sun worship day. The Father's appointed times are in Leviticus 23. Study your bible
I went to a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert recently, expecting a "Christ" Christmas presentation. However, the storyline was very dark and demonic. They changed the words to several hymns and secularized them to where they had no Christian Christmas message. I was so disappointed. If only I had known! I would not have gone.
(FYI) The T and S in TSO stands for Testament and Savatage - the 2 secular metal bands that were originally recruited by their producer Paul O'Neill to create The Trans-Siberian Orchestra. EDIT - To those individuals who doubt the efficacy of this (and shout "Wrong" like Lex Luthor), I humbly submit for your consideration the concept of a "double entendre". In other words: 2 things can both be true at the same time - one meaning at the surface level (i.e. - "It's a Train") , and one deeper / more obscured / actual meaning.
That's to bad to hear cause I had thought of going to a concert of theirs. I've always been a Savatage/Trans Siberian Orchestra fan and always thought while probably not Christian their stuff was never directly blasphemes and lots of their songs had Christian themes.
@@James-q1i6v Christmas roots is Christ, mithras roots is pagan idolatry. Christ, God that took human form and had a real presence in time and in a place, the God who appeared in time in history before His incarnation, in the Old Testament, the God who created the world that you live in....
Wrong. He got the name from visiting Siberia and seeing in this harsh land the trans-Siberian railway. He used the name because music connects people all over the world the same way the railway connected Siberia to the outside world.
What I like about our church's Christmas celebration service is that all of the songs point to the gospel. On the other hand, where I work, none of the "holiday" music played over the speakers have anything to do with Jesus. It was the same when I worked at Sears. Back then, I asked why they didn’t play spiritual Christmas music. I was told we didn't want to offend the customers. We also couldn't say "Merry Christmas" to customers for the same reason. Sad.
God must be looking at us with such disappointment. We have really messed up His plan of church and worship. I haven't been in a church for about 12 years, because of the mess humans have made of it. I still pray. I still worship. I still read His Word. I love my Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I just can't stand humanity, at this point. May God come to judge all of this, soon. We need Jesus to come again and take care of all of this nonsense. Amen!

Actually, I think the church spends more time entertaining than engaging. Those are two different things that shouldn't be confused. Being entertained is passive; being engaged is active. When you entertain, you do clever stuff whilst people just sit there; when you engage people, you make them think. Nothing about modern evangelical Protestantism makes people think. When it's not a Las Vegas review, it's some guy screaming at people about politics and you never know when you're at a political rally or when you're at worship. The screamers can sometimes be entertaining too, but it's the speaker, not God, who is being worshipped.. When I want to worship I'll give both types of "services" a hard pass.
The only thing you can do is get away from it. Come out of it and be separate, just as the Bible says. Don't bother trying to stop it because you will not succeed. This apostasy must take place before the end.

Soaring soprano and tenor solos, beautiful harmony, narasion by our best bass voice, straight from the scriptures. Ahh Christmases past, one should always leave the service feeling like you have just been in heaven with the angels, not like you have just been at a rock concert with the dudes!
These are the reasons I don't interact with the world or the church. I hate all the superficial garbage, the glitz and glamor, the dancing and theatre. I want the old fashioned churches, hymnals, no choir, just the congregation singing, good fundamental teachings and sermons. It's hard to find these days. And if you think you shouldn't wear flip flops in church i guess you don't allow the homeless in either? It's not like they have a huge wardrobe.
This current generation does not have a true biblical understanding of WORSHIP. True worship is a reverence and adoration for a Holy God. This has been turned on its head and made into something that make us (the worshippers) feel good. We are offering up worldly rock music sometime with satanic drum beat and dancing girls in tight pants, we think that this is pleasing to a holy God. This is work of the flesh and it attract the unsaved and keep them coming to church because of its worldliness nature. Lord may we learn to listen to your Holy Spirit and bring your church back to a state of true worship.
I could see in context of a theatrical production, a church could put on a darker performance to communicate the darkness of the character or moment being presented in a story (I.e. king herod decreeing infanticide). This can create a contrast for the light to be presented later on. But let's make sure our church services are church services and our theatrical productions are theatrical productions. No need to overlap.
I like how he said that the world shouldn’t be singing the church’s hymns, but can we also say that the church shouldn’t be singing the world’s songs! It goes both ways.
Where do you live? You can reach out to any of the sound churches like John MacArthur's and ask them about a sound church in your area. "Don't find a church near your home, find one closest to the Bible" - Paul Washer. I'm not kidding, ask even Paul Washer's ministry and they can find a sound church for you in your area. Bless you!
I'm a Christian and also a Metalhead. When I go to church I don't want a show/concert. I'm perfectly happy singing a hymn and don't need to be entertained. Church isn't supposed to be a show.
Love your perspective, but disagree about the world sharing the Christian Christmas hymns. Joy to the World, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and many other classic Christmas gospel hymns get piped through shopping mall loudspeakers declaring the good news for all to hear during Christmas season. No one lights a lamp and puts a basket over it.
Oh! My! Gosh! These are absolutely horrific, especially the fire clip… were these part of an actual, weekly service? Why even go to church at all?! THIS is NOT church!
in the Bible we are not commanded to sing christmas songs. Angels didn't sing... they were army. BUT if you want to sing, do it. So if it is Jesus in the song... or in the entire production, it is good. 'Cause what you see is a theatrical production, like a movie, where at the end, Jesus is honoured. Go see the entire show, if you have the guts. But no, I thnink you won't.
(Ezekiel 8: 6-13) “And He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations which the house of Israel are committing here, so that I would be far from My sanctuary? But yet you will see still greater abominations.” Then He brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall. He said to me, “Son of man, now dig through the wall.” So I dug through the wall, and behold, an entrance. And He said to me, “Go in and see the wicked abominations that they are committing here.” So I entered and looked, and behold, every form of creeping things and beasts and detestable things, with all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around. Standing in front of them were seventy elders of the house of Israel, with Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan standing among them, each man with his censer in his hand and the fragrance of the cloud of incense rising. Then He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what the elders of the house of Israel are committing in the dark, each man in the room of his carved images? For they say, ‘The LORD does not see us; the LORD has forsaken the land.’” And He said to me, “Yet you will see still greater abominations which they are committing.” Brother Raoul.
Why did you not include the very next verse? _Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north and behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz._ I suspect that the women weeping for Tammuz/Adonis is a little too close for comfort.
My late father-in-law was a very godly man who along with my mother-in-law helped raise their 4 children my late wife included. They however thought the only proper instruments proper during a church service were piano and organ. Anything else was secular and should not be used. He would listen to the church band in a concert but objected when they performed during the worship service.
I do not know where the idea of an organ being acceptable would have come from. Stringed instruments are the only ones that can seemingly be justified with The Bible; certainly not wind instruments.
@John.Flower.Productions I don't know about you, but when I am home and I put on some good Gospel music, and we start dancing and praising God that is Him.
I guess the point was just to look nice. The earlier church wore sandals. Flip-flops are modern, but still a form of sandal. I think it was customary to have certain outfits were set aside, "Sunday best" to be worn as a part of the special occasion. The idea was a distinction between the casual. Just because someone dresses casual does not necessarily mean they have a casual mindset. Yacht clubs, military, special events, etcetera have dress codes for distinction. In certain places the attire may be different, but still be appropriate as the outfit is not to distract from the service (that is a bigger topic).
A little respect is a good thing. It may not save your soul but flip flops don’t give off a sense of the divine. Has the church going public lost a sense of holiness and reverence for God? Goodness.
Oh, Father God, forgive the “believers” in our nation for our sins! I pray the eyes of us all would be opened to our sins, that we would genuinely repent (turn away from) of our sins, and that we would wholly give ourselves to You! Only then could You hear us and heal our land (according to Scripture) and I pray that You WILL heal our land.
I just can't get into the "contemporary" church services that exist today. I became a Christian a few years ago, and I desire a church service that is reverent; kind of quiet; with just a piano and/or organ; beautiful worship songs to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It's sadly getting hard to find a church like this because the older people who had this type of church have gone on or are sick at home now, making way for the younger generations to take over the churches and completely change them. I have seen this happen where I live. It's awful to me.
@@IoanDura Yes, my mother plays the keyboard in a wild and crazy church. She likes it because she likes rock music. But me and her don't have the same taste in churches, so I don't go to her church anymore.
This "Holiday" as well as Easter existed long before Jesus was ever born. There is no holy vs. secular way to celebrate Christmas--it's always been pagan. So if the seed is pagan, so are its fruits. It's time to wake up church. You can't worship God and satan.
Yup, read Jeremiah 10, which if I recall is 600 years before Christ. And if people would read in Ezekiel how the Heavenly Father feels about sun worship, and then seriously reconsider this deceptive thing called "sun" day worship.

So many churches falling by the wayside. Preparing the stage for the Antichrist. Pray for her and don’t directly attack that church but bring up some truths to counteract what you saw there and hopefully common sense and the Holy Spirit will work on her.
Please gently tell her what you just told us.
You can't save your aunt. Salvation is personal.
It's funny how the Church services looked more worldly than the secular events.
Jesus said to go into the world unfortunately it's the world coming into the church. GOD bless brother Todd all the way from Australia 🇦🇺.
The world hasn't merely "come into" the church; it has TAKEN OVER. The Great Apostasy is in full swing as we speak, and then the man of sin will be revealed, followed by the Great Tribulation. Our faith is about to be tested like never before.
I never said that

Well said!!!
That is so sad where the “Christians” are today in belief and hearing the Word.
What is disturbing? Catholics hijacked the 25th and claim it as theirs? The pagans have more right to claim this holiday. Us Christians saying Christmas is about Jesus is like LGBT saying rainbows represent their movement. Uhhh no you came later.
Christmas is about Christ. The public wants the spirit of Christmas without the one who gives it. 😢
@@annep.1905 Did Jesus say I've come to bring the Spirit of Christmas? Did he say "celebrate my birthday, do this in remembrance of me"? 😂
If they hesitate or shy away from answering... next.
Music is worship. If you are listening to worldly music, you are actually worshipping the god of this world and give Satan access to your life.
Many do, regularly.

Hearing Todd Friel say someone doesn't have any "moves" is something I didn't know I needed to hear. 😆
Years ago in my walk with Christ, I always felt that alot of contemporary Christian music was kind of worldly. Then I started hearing how many performer's starting falling into sin. Even today we're seeing people like Amy Grant support some sinful lifestyles.
Exactly why I will not have anything to do with CCM and haven't for several years.
This makes me grateful for my church’s respectful and Christ centered Advent Hymn service. It consisted of hymns, Bible readings, and the choir. We had two other churches come. It was nice to meet other Christians in the area.
How can a ‘true’ religion have so many different varieties 😂
It’s not about religion, it’s 100% about a relationship with Christ. A ‘true’ relationship with Christ that reflections Romans 10:9 is thee essential component. Variety comes into play whereas my relationship with Christ may not look the same as someone else’s because the relationship is personal.

Amen !! December may not be the True birthday of Christ Jesus but it’s when we Celebrate it . There is NO EXCUSE NOT TO PUT HIM IN THE CENTER OF the church celebration. That was just BLASPHEMOUS

Totally agree with you! So thankful that our church is one that celebrates Christmas in a godly and Holy manner. I come let us adore Him 🙏
Yes. I think the Holy Spirit gets stronger with good music.
He is God, He doesnt get stronger or weaker and His power does NOT depend on us, we are dirt literally, but there are times when you strongly feel His presence and other times when you dont
@vladdragos501 yeah you put in in a better way. You are right ✅️
Where is "christmas" in the scriptures? We are not given the date of Yeshua's birth nor are we commanded anywhere to keep it. Ironically it is a pagan rooted sun worship day. The Father's appointed times are in Leviticus 23. Study your bible
Saddens my heart, prayers that true Christians hold onto Christ's birthday celebrations and let the world keep the rest of the shenanigans.
I don't know how much your producers make, but whatever it is, they deserve a raise!
Christ-mass is going back to it's roots! It is a dark unholy day and it always has been! Merry mithras!
@@James-q1i6v Christmas roots is Christ, mithras roots is pagan idolatry. Christ, God that took human form and had a real presence in time and in a place, the God who appeared in time in history before His incarnation, in the Old Testament, the God who created the world that you live in....

None of those performances by Hellsong made me think of Jesus And how amazing it was that he came to save us. It's an abomination and it makes me sick
Sad.
This was utterly disturbing. Lukewarm insanity. The modern day church is in trouble.
God must be looking at us with such disappointment. We have really messed up His plan of church and worship. I haven't been in a church for about 12 years, because of the mess humans have made of it. The church has spent far too much time entertaining and “engaging” sinners, and not enough building up and equipping the saints.

Sadly, this was everything I expected. Thank you for exposing them. Now, what are we going to do about it?
Come out of the apostate (lukewarm) church. Set yourself apart from this world. Be holy because God is holy.
The only thing you can do is get away from it. Come out of it and be separate, just as the Bible says. Don't bother trying to stop it because you will not succeed. This apostasy must take place before the end.

But yet you will see still greater abominations.” Then He brought me to the entrance of the court, and when I looked, behold, a hole in the wall. He said to me, “Son of man, now dig through the wall.” So I dug through the wall, and behold, an entrance. And He said to me, “Go in and see the wicked abominations that they are committing here.”
So I entered and looked, and behold, every form of creeping things and beasts and detestable things, with all the idols of the house of Israel, were carved on the wall all around.

My late father-in-law was a very godly man who along with my mother-in-law helped raise their 4 children my late wife included. They however thought the only proper instruments proper during a church service were piano and organ. Anything else was secular and should not be used. A matter of reverence: the modern church has none.
I do not know where the idea of an organ being acceptable would have come from.

No flip flops In church??? I guess we are all going to hell over here in Hawaii, cuz that’s all we wear!!! 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤙🤙🤙🤙🤣🤣🤣🤣
In South Africa, some go to church barefoot 😂
A little respect is a good thing. It may not save your soul but flip flops don’t give off a sense of the divine. Has the church going public lost a sense of holiness and reverence for God? Goodness.
