This is a brilliant method. I have been thinking of building a semihollow version of one of my designs, though mine will be bolt on, with a flat headstock, to limit waste wood. I would also employ both a top and a back.
@@istvantukacs1948 So you are an excellent carpenter who is going to be an excellent luthier as well. The "neck through body" construction is very interesting because you removed the material in the middle of the bodypart. It reminds me to the so called "trestle bracing" of some Gretsch guitars and the glued body parts are a better version of the first electric guitar mister Les Paul invented. Called "The Log". As far as I know nobody builds guitars like this one could buy. And it sound good! Maybee you are on the right way to enrich the guitar market with something outstanding and new. Here in Germany the guitar freaks are allways searching for something special and new. Where do you live?

@@istvantukacs1948 It´s funny, yesterday evening I´ve been to a concert featuring the two guitar heroes Bireli Lagrene and Joscho Stephan. And one of the best songs they played was "Sunny" same as you did on the video. (Maybe they played a little bit faster and a lot more notes but one can´t compare, they used four hands and two guitars!) Now I´m thinking about a way to use your construction ideas to build a small acoustic gibsy guitar with a straight through neck combined and glued to a free swinging guitar top. Fortunately a friend of mine is a master violin luthier who I can ask about the chance to succeed. I let you know if it works. Ulf
