I noticed a lot of you slot guys trying the vertical all at the same time. Vertical is only good if you are pushing "shorts". For regular watching it is awful. It's impersonal and can't see any details. For those using their computers or TV, it's almost impossible to watch. Hopefully you guys will ignore UA-cam's push and this is just a phase.
Sadly, YT is big on this right now since 80% of the users are using cell phones when they are watching. I am trying to do both so people can enjoy either or but this won't end soon. At least thru the month of April!
@@TheBigJackpot As someone who mainly uses a phone- I still like the landscape format better. Again- the slot feels too far away where it's difficult to see everything on the screen. I also like to read comments while I watch, but UA-cam displays the video in this weird blurry cutoff view unless I put it as full screen. So is it really better for phone users? Nope. I hope you try it out yourself as a viewer- to see the issues the rest of us are having. A suggestion I gave another account was to make sure no part of the screen was wasted by zooming in as close as possible. Meaning- Use the outside of the reels as your width cutoff- not the machine. It will bring us in just a little bit closer with this portrait view.
