I wonder that picking a favorite illustrator would be like picking a favorite child. Impossible! I like various artists for their artistic style and subject matter. There are artists whose work I’m drawn to and so it is their books that find a place in my small collection.

Thought about Cocowyo but I heard so many bad things about Amazon paper. And of course a real Christmas book. But I already ordered one. Maybe this will be it. 😊
Das Wasser und die Blätter der Seerosen muß ich unbedingt nachmachen. Wunderschön!😍 Ich war so unentschlossen wegen diesem Buch, da mir manche Seiten nicht gefallen. (Die Seiten nur mit Landschaft/Häusern zum Beispiel, oder die mit "viel" weißem Hintergrund. Das ist immer noch etwas schwierig für mich.) Die Illustrationen mit den Tieren, Blumen und Mädchen liebe ich aber alle. Vor all die runden, so wie in deinem Video. Mal gucken, auf meiner Wunschliste für meinen Geburtstag ist es😄 Ich sollte definitiv mehr Hintergründe machen. Meist habe ich zu viel Angst, das ganze Bild damit zu ruinieren. 😂 Ich freue mich schon so sehr auf Fairy Tales & Folklore von Emelie Lidehäll Öberg. Ich habe es früher in einigen Videos gesehen, und war enttäuscht das es nicht mehr erhältlich war. Kann es kaum erwarten.🙂

Dann können wir ja gemeinsam lernen. 😊 ich muss sagen bisher mag ich das Buch sehr gerne vor allem, weil die Motive relativ schlicht gehalten sind allerdings würde ich mir ein weniger glattes Papier wünschen. Aber das ist natürlich Geschmacksache. Wie lange ist es denn noch bis zu deinem Geburtstag? 🎂
@@mimose00 Ja, sehr gerne. Ich habe bisher soft pastels ausprobiert, was recht gut funktioniert, und einmal Neocolor. Bei Neocolor ist üben angesagt. Der erste Versuch war bescheiden 😂 Ja, das Problem mit dem Papier. Ich habe noch keine große Kollektion, allerdings bestelle ich die niederländischen Ausgaben der Bücher, wenn es möglich ist, da mir in ihnen das Papier besser gefallen hat, und ich mit meinem Polys gut zurecht komme. Wobei ich sowieso finde, das das Papier in den meisten Büchern viel zu glatt ist. Mein Endgegner sind die Bücher von Hachette - Art Therapie. (Boules de Poils usw) Dabei liebe ich die Illustrationen. Bei Matchtick Mouse macht mir das Amazon Papier zum Beispiel nichts aus. Vielleicht aber auch deshalb, weil ich die Maus so super niedlich finde. 🐀 20.08 😄 Findest du, das das Papier in Shooting Star anders ist, als in ihren Büchern zuvor?
