Dude he even announced Rourke was playing a week before playing Michigan State. Tom Allen wouldn’t even announce the starting kicker! We got a ball coach
Honestly, I grew up in a husker household. Just got back into cfb this year after a few years of ignoring. Can’t help but love what Indiana has going on. Excited to see what the program looks like 10 years from now
LMBO! Coach you know absolutely what you are doing. Despite what the press thinks, they don't have to know EVERYTHING you are doing. Get that team, especially the OL, ready for pressure. If there is anyone who can do it, it certainly would be you & your coaching staff. GO Hoosiers!!! No limits
The difference in the program is night and day. That’s because they resemble their coach. Cignetti reminds me of Bobby Knight. He is a lot more polished but answers questions pointedly and doesn’t ramble. He is also a genius in his sport who can win without elite players. He makes average players great. Look out if he starts getting 5 stars. Tom Allen was a nice guy but more like Tom Crean. Both were back patters and ra ra coaches. Now there is accountability and the players like the feedback. The excitement this season will be an awesome memory. I am more excited to see what he will be able to do next year. I am sure he will have a huge amount for NIL after this season and players will want to play for him.
Like your post. One note I would add is about Tom Crean. Crean inherited an absolute disaster! Kelvin Sampson had recruiting violations as his prior location. He came to Indiana with them which IU had to suffer penalties. Then he DID THE SAME VIOLATIONS AGAIN. Sampson can coach but he failed at IU. By the time Crean got the job at IU there was 0 or 1 leftover players. He had to build from scratch while suffering under the recruiting violations from Sampson. Considering what Crean went through it was amazing what he was able to do. Biggest disaster in IU basketball history had to be Sampson.
The perfect place to play ball, southern Indiana, great weather, great coaches, great student culture, great food. And not the crazy stuff you find in the bigs. Tough to beat
This is like a pro situation! It seems like IU is now truly a Football School, and is attracting the best players from nearby. Good for our Program!!!!!!!
Shane Beamer got his first 5 stars in his 3rd season at South Carolina. Trust the process, next season they are in the race for some. HS recruits had no idea what to expect of Indiana this past year
not a good signing day but have trust in cignetti's ability for some fair portal activity, like he said after the osu game, "they are loaded, ..............let me tell ya, they are loaded" Well, Georgia is too and pretty much the top 4 to 5 SEC Teams. I hope the portal is a spark of hope for next year
Possibly, but Tayven isn't young anymore. He was talking about why he didn't recruit an incoming freshman QB -because we already have 2 young QBs on the roster that he likes, and you only have so many spots for young QBs
I really like how transparent coach is in discussing recruiting and the portal

The coach said, "Come on into my Portal., Big Talent for 2025. LOL. Good luck Indy, from a Buckeye point of view, You Guys Rock.

Michigums, probably won't like you, But the Buckeyes welcome you to the top of the world. Have a good Draft ....

Thanks for the coverage.

Beautiful answer on the last question....CIGNETTI is an ANIMAL!
Indy... I am a big fan of you guys and your great success, but I have to stay a Buckeye. Nothing but Luck and wins to you guys, till we meet again.
@@rodneycaupp5962 Respect. Maybe we’ll see the rematch in the title game 🫡 we also don’t play you in the regular season next year so that’s a bonus.
Go IU Hoosiers!
isnt it odd that meijer dosent have a store in bloomington? build one meijer

@ nope theres not bloomington in only has a walmart
There's one in my home town of Jeffersonville and wish they were in Texas!
@@JohnCarpenter-oj6iw No there isn't, what the hell are you talking about?
There’s a Waffle House.
Indiana football needs some 5 star recruits
probably not gonna happen for a year or two more. we need sustained success for that to happen but we’re definitely on the right track
Only if they fit Cignetti's mold stars don't matter!

If I heard right, the highest recruits are 3 star. It would have been nice to get at least a couple 4’s
Though he might flip some higher ranked guys

That sounds like Tavon not coming back
