I have a innovative marine 25 lagoon. All parameters are spot on and I’ve still been fighting green hair algae for months. My take volume is 17 gallons and all LPS. If I dose one million per 20 gallons how often should I try it daily for a week and see how it reacts?

Uronema is gnarly. I had a royal gramma that got it, luckily in qt, and it ate two holes in its side and rotted away its tail in under 48 hours. By the time I got medication I thought would work it was already far to gone. Was pretty sad.

I know you mentioned zoas.. but I'm looking for something for my acans. And ther bacterial infections they sometimes get. Scollys too. I've lost a few Scollys due to what I think is bacteria. Will hydrogen peroxide work for these things?

Thank you for this very informative video. Is it also ok just to dose hydrogen peroxide like just mixing it or dropping at the surface of the water to get rid of algae and dinos? Or i should do it your way like using syringe and dosing it very close to the live rocks? Is it ok to dose hydrogen peroxide if i have hermit and emerald crabs in my tank and bubble tip anemones? Will it kill brooklynella and velvet? Do i remove chemi pure blue in my filters when dosing? Thanks in advance for replying

Tried H2O2 for aptasia. Injecting them alone was not enough, but if I was able to tear their tissue, they would fizzle away.

I dipped xenia in hydrogenperoxide because of hair algae. 3% diluted. Xenia disolved within one day

can I use HP if I have mushrooms and gsp ?

Yes. I run several tanks one being mostly sps but I do have mushrooms in that tank as well as gsp. I’m dosing daily 1ml per 10 gallons and have dosed 120 ml daily in a 90 gallon system for two weeks at a time to treat dinoflagellates. There is no affect on sps, lps or soft corals. I will add that zoanthids will close momentarily but quickly open again within minutes.

I added 2 mls to my Biocube 32 last night (lights on) my zoas instantly closed up and everyone of my shrooms all turned into a funnel shape like oddly snapped they appeared fine this morning before work however

This was super informative. However the part about not wanting to “waste” a couple thousand gallons of water in Ca was silly. I work in ca and find leaks for a living. I find small leaks daily that pump thousands of gallons of water into the ground. A thousand gallons is a drop in the ocean compared to what we all use to water our plants. Next time don’t worry about using water. When Ca stops allowing building permits to large corporations because we don’t have enough water to drink, you can worry about a “drought”. As of now they are still building at a rapid rate and not building more water storage. Our droughts are just the people in charge wanting you to use less so they can steel more.
