Do you think it bothers the bird that it can't actually have any physical contact with the other birds that they are hearing? (Just wondering I have a Sun Conure 1yr old)
Good question :) I really don't think so at all. I think just hearing and seeing birds helps them to not feel so lonely. Birds group up in massive flocks in the wild, they crave the company of other birds. I've been told countless times how these have helped solitary birds. Every bird is completely unique, so it takes trying out different types of the vids we have and seeing what you're bird enjoys most. If you have it on and they watch it, they preen, eat, play, and chill while the vids are running, then you start seeing what they like (it's why we try to keep a variety of sounds and music on the channel to choose from). If you're bird is yelling in a discomforting way, then switch up the video to a different kind (they probably don't like the type of music or soundscape). My birds all have their own favorites here on the channel :) I hope that helps a bit
@@ParrotTown Thanks a lot for the info. I put this video on after watching your video and she started squawking along with the video, she began to preening herself and "preening" me. Then I left her in the living room alone and she got quiet. So I just peeked in at her as the video is playing and she was laying in her hut on her back just relaxing.(So cute) So I guess she likes it. ( I tried the sun conure sound videos and she was just looking around and standing at attention kind of... didn't seem to like it so I put this one back on)
