That orange /black trim does grow on you out on the road, especially in terms of visibility in traffic. It makes me feel a lot safer. I would opt for LED turn signals for winter in the rain and a more comfortable two-up seat with pillion back support - you have to keep them happy.
Own a ‘22 Street Glide Special in Midnight Crimson Red/Black w/Chrome! Love mine and love the 114! Upgraded all lighting to LED, Speakers and amp to Fosgate! As the bike resides in South Florida had it Ceramic coated which helps with salt corrosion before it left the dealer!
My dealership did the same thing. Only reason I bought it was because they swapped out the chrome for black. I'm a little torn. Part of me wishes I waited a year to buy a new Street Glide. The other part of me is glad I bought the 23 since it is the last year of this style.
Harley Davidson missed the target again by not offering Baja Orange in the blacked out trip. On a scale of 1 to 10 Harley hits a solid 2 for the product offering this year. Sad.
I fell in love with the chrome trim version of this bike while at AZ Bike Week. Found it at Scottsdale HD - still kicking myself for not driving it home that day! Thanks to your review, I may end up looking for one here at home …
I purchased the atlas Silver in April with chrome trim. Was not told the tins had been swapped from a Baja orange vin. So who ever bought the b/o bike has the Vin originally for my bike Tin swap is ok. But new bikes with swap won't match Vin. Dealers should be up front on this. Since paperwork will be INCORRECT! The good part is I won't run into the exact bike everywhere I go.
I just bought the industrial yellow and black but they swapped it all out with the orange bike so mine has the chrome the orange came with. It really sets off the yellow and black that way.
I was just at your dealership on Saturday. I might actually buy this exact bike. So don't get any scratches on it :) I was leaning toward a 2022 red one in the show room. Thought I wouldn't like the orange based on the pictures. But in person the color really has grown on me.
That's awesome. Casey said you may be there tomorrow? I'm not sure what time but I'll be there at some point hopefully I run into you. I'm pretty found of this one so please be good to her! haha
Thanks for creating this video as if I, as the viewer had never seen this bike before you created this video. Keep up the good work brother! I bought a Snake Venom Limited after watching your video on it.
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I say that bc that vin shows baja orange which is weird lol but I still think thats what happed and yes with black as far as I know.
Great review- I have been waiting for this one to hit my dealership and purchased over the weekend. Love love the color and I'm a big fan of chrome; so, it works well for me. I had LED's front / rear installed at the dealership.
Once you've seen that front fender with the trim that the Road King has then without it it always looks unfinished. Also like you I'm incensed with the non-led turn signals, absolutely ridiculous when even 5 grand Royal Enfields have them. 😢
Anyone saying Harleys cost too much are just perpetuating ignorance and need to do research on what the other brands actually charge for comparable models.. Honda Goldwing $25,600.. Indian Chieftan $22,449.. Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero $18,599.. Harley Street Glide $21, 999. As you can see the ONLY model less expensive than the Harley is the Kawasaki.
Exactly I get so tired of people whining about Harleys being too expensive !! They are no more expensive today than they were when I started riding one in 1983! Has any of these people priced a new Chevy truck lately?
Honestly at that height and weight you'd probably be fine on a touring bike. You're tall enough to have good leverage and heavy enough to have some weight to control the bike. Also at that weight the heavier frame and suspension will give you the best ride. If you want music and navigation I'd look at Road Glide or Street Glide, if you like the stripped down look and feel look at the Road King.
@@throttleblip9854 Thanks For Responding Back. Appreciate That. I Was Thinking Of Looking Into The Street Glide. Which Has Got My Interest. But With Only Taking The Riders Course. Some Years Back. As My Only Experience On A Bike. I Didn't Know. If That Would Be Okay For Me To Start Off With. Thanks Once Again
I really like the bikes from Harley - I made 202'000 km with my Road King 2002 and now own a 2021 Street Glide CVO. But there are lots of things I can not understand in terms of fit and finish, not only the turn signals not being LED. The missing heel shifter, that cable mess under the frame above the transmission and cables not being covered by shrink tube up to the plug. The hooks for locking the bags - why do they need to be so big? Screws so ugly as were they stolen from a tractor - ever had a look into the fairing of the Lowrider ST? The screws are about 1 cm too long without any need. Make them shorter and cover them with a hat nut and it would look way better. And yet, I like to ride my Harley so much, I would never want to miss it. But I would really appreciate it if Harley would have a little more love for details. Triumph last year and Harley this year must have found some cheap Orange paint 😂 $30K bike before the priceless Dealer attitude plus Tax, Title, Processing Fee, Dealer set up fee. Harley became the Gucci of the Bikes!
The orange and black ROCKS!
I just purchased a 2023 Street Glide Special in baja orange with chrome trim at my local dealership. No regrets at all. It's absolutely amazing.
Harley Davidson needs to implement this Orange with Black trim.
Love the Orange and Black. Wish Harley would come out with this combo from factory.
The Challenger you were driving behind sounded pretty awesome😂
I can’t say enough how much I love my 2021 Street Glide Special. I’m with you on the led lights.
I think Harley missed a trick, colour combo looks very good. Glad to see you haven’t lost your touch
This makes me love my 2019 CVO even more !
Huge mistake by the MoCo by not making the Baja Orange with black trim. Great job Timm's! Awesome review and awesome combo!!
Appreciate you, KIP!!
You can always add it yourself
I’d love to see you review a 23 street glide ST in white sand pearl
I can make that happen! I need to do that model anyway.
Love that bike, my bengals colors 💪🏼💪🏼

I LOVE the new Breakout in the Orange! This Streetglide looks better with Black trim than Chrome

This is my next test ride. I can already tell I prefer this over the road glide. Thanks for the information! :)

That looks way better than the chrome love it
I agree!!
I love dark on chrome but agree with you Joshua. Orange looks great on Black.
Born at Anderson Memorial.... dad lives in Belton. I just painted my 2003 ultra classic this color.
this jawn is nice . ..

Been waiting for the new bike releases love your reviews
That is exactly what I would order if they done this combo from factory. Best looking bike and colour combo.

Awesome walk around review. Very informative thank you

I like chrome
☝🏼🤓 too much black
The M8 is best when built from the ground up, balanced and blueprinted with aftermarket parts in a high end shop.
ABSOLUTELY beautiful w/ the black parts! what a shame it's not offered from factory. I'm sure that bike will be sold immediately.
I have no doubt!
Black trim looks much better with orange. Still love my 2020 Performance Orange SGS
That was a killer color also!
I just bought the industrial yellow and black but they swapped it all out with the orange bike so mine has the chrome the orange came with. It really sets off the yellow and black that way.
Very nice, my friend bought one venom green and absolutely luvs it!🤗
Thank God some one put this colour combo together
It HAD to be done, right!?
Absolutely 💯

the lower fork non chrome issue and turn signal non led on the specials makes me shake my head
Best part was that 392 singing.
I have a 20 rg limited 114 and luv it!🤗

No heel shifter No LED’s 🤔 $30k I’m sure they’ll sell it to you after market..adding another $500
My local dealer has one in orange and black with some of the anniversary trim pieces.
Which dealership is that?
@@throttleblip9854 pig trail HD in rogers, ar.
Love the color
Awesome video ride safe and enjoy ❤❤❤❤❤
I don't understand the whole blackout thing. If God didn't want stuff to shine he wouldn't have created chrome..
That is gorgeous 😍
Orange with black is the right combination. Wonder what the thoughts of harley company was for not offering this combo.
Mr Blip...would love to see you compare the orange pumpkin to a K1600B...then, we'll see who's the real winner. just suggesting...thanks for the 4K...
When I saw the orange with chrome I immediately said to my dealer that it needed to have the black motor and trim.
That sounds amazing, perfect M8. Details?
They make one for various preferences...
I'm a Believer but I only believe in Chrome Harleys setting ... 🤘 ... bye
Keeping the drab austerity in various shades and coming too close to safety wear as they begrudgingly give bit of colour.
Does look better blacked out...still looks like a jackolantern but a better quality jackolantern
I assume they just swapped out the tins, so what version of the bike did they start with? Vivid black?
Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what happened. I say that bc that vin shows baja orange which is weird lol but I still think thats what happed and yes with black as far as I know.

That's awesome. This color is so good. I hate you guys have to spend money to get the LED's its 2023 and that's a Special model.
With no R and D needed for the 23’s, shouldn’t the cost be coming down since there were no changes?
Do the 2022 CVO come with saddle bag liners ??
Sweet Looking Ride......

you are an idiot comparing those bikes to the bottom rung base model street glide. I just bought a new Street Glide Special 48 hours ago….. $31000.00
For the most part i agree but the Nightsters and Sporster S WAYYY above expensive! (Not that i would buy one haha)😂
Street Glide, black = $21,999
Ur right, they are made very well. Worth it imo.
Too bad the bike doesn’t come like this. This color in black trim looks very nice.
Dude I like your videos. Do you do your editing? Witch program do you use?
Thanks! I do and I use Premiere Pro.
As the fairing is handlebar mounted, how do you find the additional weight as compared to one that is frame mounted?
Good video, the bike looks good
Thanks 👍

looks like they added saddlebag lock guards, my 21 doesn't have them. l
either way… looks 😮
None of the Matte colors this year? Or are they on the specials?
Are the switches backlit?
What type of Orange is this?🤔
Baja Orange
I see you guys have done a tin swap as well. We did that at our dealership also.
I have a feeling we will do a lot more. If you read the comments on this video people really want this option.
@@throttleblip9854 we've heard the same at ours.
@@throttleblip9854 it was a mistake on the motor company to not offer this option
How could Harley miss the boat on this color Combo geesh
Pretty short sighted of them not to offer this color with black trim.
Hd colors are orange and black
I’d rather have the Industrial Yellow and Vivid Black Street Glide
This bike must cost a lot. Tin swaps aren't cheap. At least at my dealer.
What type of brakes the bike has and brake pads for front and rear
As per Adam Sandoval, they are Brembros
Brembos

The way it should have been offered ! Harley made a mistake offering it only in Chrome.
No, they offer it in this config as well, but ya just have to change all the tins yourself 😉
Harleys have a low center of gravity, they carry their weight well...
I realize at 60 years old you probably consider me a dinosaur but I'll go to my grave preferring chrome.
Chrome is making a comeback I think!
It's almost as if HD had one job.......nope, can't pull it off.
Looks like it could glow in the dark! Not for me.
Is it a nice bike 100% but I just don’t see all that money sitting there sorry
