Only the battery cameras don't open up live ....you have to open them yourself.

I thought I recently read they can open up live now if they are also plugged in (if near enough to an outlet). :)

You actually don’t need one. You can save all your footage to a microSD card.
@@SteveDOES I have the OG battery cam and it only takes snapshots without subscription. The wired cams do save to the SD card.
