This is what I Loved and Missed sooo much!!! about my Country the Philippines. Our people are mostly religious so, we go to places of worship mostly Catholic Churches and we pour our Hearts Out to offer everything bad fate and life comes our way. When we are at home, most of us sing our troubles, sorrows, pain and heartaches away with family and friends. Last thing, I want to share about us Filipino's, God gave us a Big Heart to know that, no matter how desperate our life situation is, there are plenty of others worst of than we are. Now you'll understand better why most poor people in my country, is just as happy as the people here in America and other rich countries. I like millions of Filipinos out there, Working hard, Praying, planning, singing and hoping that soon, we can be with our love ones and friends back HOME!
Disclaimer as you can probably tell I am not Filipino by my name but my extended family is to include fiance, two biological sons and 3 step children. This is fairly common and most likely an outing at a rental resort home. Our family does it fairly often for family occasions like birthdays and such. I know with my family they love to sing, some good and some bad lol. But it's such a blast because it's family time with singing, eating and sometimes drinking.
FYI: The long hair with a cap is the front man of the Ice Bucket band, his name is Limuel Llanes, and he can slay a lot of challenging song like She's Gone! Go check him out!
It's really our nature as Filipinos to have fun, get together dinner, have some drinks and after that we do some karaoke. We really love to sing with the people we love and it's our way of being happy and grateful to God for our life.
If I may add, before the Karaoke device was invented, we Music Loving Filipinos gather together on special occasions or not, just to Sing Our Hearts Out... Guitars and Piano's never go to waste.
Filipinos are incredibly talented ... The islands are loaded with naturally gifted undeniable God given talent ... No doubt God has indeed blessed the Filipinos with abundance of talent ...

The most sad and heart breaking song that was very popular in the 1970's when my childhood friends in Cebu City and all 3 remaining sisters left for the U.S. to join my Mother, eldest sister and youngest brother. The only 2 left is the middle brother and me, it was hard for me to accept what was happening so, to ease our sadness, We sing this song " When Will I See You Again" even now just typing the title, I can still feel it!

This is how we party in the Philippines. No body will call the cops on you for being loud and making noise all night long. Here in the U.S. your neighbor will call the cops if your dog is barking too loud. My neighbor called cop on us because my worker in the backyard playing music and it was bothering her. Cop was knocking at our door and told me there is a call that someone is playing music loud at backyard. He had to see it for himself. Oh my god! Some people in this country called U.S.A is too much! That’s why we are going back home to our country Philippines of where you can make noise, party, have your dog bark all night long, kids walking to school, etc. of not worrying if someone will call cops on you.
But we can't go beyond 10pm to 6am. There's an ordinance that you can't play loud music from that time. Unless you're living far away from your neighbors.
