Wish I would have found this video a hour ago. So easy. I struggled with the instructions on other videos. Thanks, I'm saving this in case it falls apart!
A friend gave me a used one and I was trying to figure out how to put it together. I googled it and it lead me to this instructional video...........Wala LOL. (It looks great and is pretty sturdy too)! Kudos for this great video.

Hi Jersey, The shelves could physically be flipped, but there are some possible issues to consider if you flip the shelves upside down. First, there is a reinforcement “beam” ( the same thickness as the sides ) that runs the length of the shelf ( in the center of the shelf ). This beam would cause the surface to not be flat. In addition, given that the reinforcement beam is now on the top, rather than the bottom of the shelf, it might not hold as much weight.
I had the same question. Wanted lip on top to keep seed trays from getting knocked off. I also want to put larger plant containers on it sometimes, so I'll do it lip down.
To keep the sleeves from popping off, make sure the clips are installed going the correct direction ( narrower at the top ) and try lowering the shelves into place slower. The shelves are held in place by friction, pressing down on the clips forcing them inwards.
You stated that the shelves and posts are sold separately. So, If I buy one set of 24x36 wire shelves? How many shelves are included? And, when ordering the 72" (height) posts, how many posts are included per set? (Since a total of 4 posts are needed to make it stand.) The site is confusing in regards to "quantity" and what you are actually getting.
Hello, thanks for your question. Shelves and posts are individual quantities, so you would need to purchase a quantity of 4 posts for a complete unit, and then how ever many shelves you are wanting to have. Hope this helps!

Hi Michel, that is correct! The recommended weight distribution for this heavy-duty shelving is 800-lbs. max per lower shelves & 400-lbs. max per upper shelves.

The shelving and posts are sold separately. One post has one adjustment left foot and one top cap. If you want the adjustable feet and top cap, buy 2 - 36” posts, rather than trying to split a 72” post. Please call 800-456-5624 if you have any further questions.
These clips are useless. Not the same product. I paid $120 for one from Walmart and the clips don’t snap on even using locking pliers. Don’t waste your effort trying to snap them together. Just go return the product

Good quality rack and useful video
Thank you for the helpful video
NONE of my chips snap together. I used a mallet to tap the shelf over the clip. I am hoping it will force the two halves together.

Yep. Mine has been sitting here out of the box for two weeks! Thanks again!
Can the shelves be flipped so that the lip is upward to stop things from sling of?

Can I place the shelves at different heights?
There are adjustments about every inch or so. If you have the unit on casters, then you can't use the bottom 6 inches of the support poles.
I took this apart when I moved and now trying to put together. The sleeves just pop right off when I begin to put the shelf on. What am I doing wrong
To keep the sleeves from popping off, make sure the clips are installed going the correct direction ( narrower at the top ) and try lowering the shelves into place slower.

can the shelf really take 800 lb? that is more than 300 kg. Will the plastic clip hold??
Hi Michel, that is correct! The recommended weight distribution for this heavy-duty shelving is 800-lbs. max per lower shelves & 400-lbs. max per upper shelves.
I want to flip the shelves upside down, anyone think of a way it could work?
Hi Dea! We wouldn't be sure how to go about doing that. We can only advise on assembly as intended. We hope you find a way to help that work for you!

One piece is smaller than the other on the clamps, it take a lil finesse

Can you split a 4 shelf unit in two, and use it that way instead of 4 shelves you would have 2 two shelf units?
