I remember the this spot. When I was tourist as a kid then 2 years later I moved to Las Vegas as a kid with my parents. Now I’m in nyc but I still remember that memory.
Honestly, I think its a lack of proper marketing and promotion. Being its the only Indoor skydiving service, I still see it being a great attraction for people to come and check out. Who else has an opinion on this. Please comment.
Why should the news have given us a head's up? That's weird to say. Obviously the place is closing because they don't let enough people know they are open for business. Maybe had they given you a heads up you could have had a flight there. Now you have to pick from one of the hundred's else where. Too bad.
Been there 42 years and nobody thought once about buying the building are a new facility to ensure it never closes and create a legacy ? That's called bad business - evolve or die !
This wind tunnel uses a propeller at the base of the tunnel to create lift and there are gaps in the windstream at the tunnel edges resulting in potential falls. Recent skydiving simulators are more like giant vacuum cleaners where essentially the participants are being lifted from above and cannot "fall off ' the column of air.
its just ina horrible location and I honestly thought that building shut down like a decade ago. If you put this even just closer to Resorts World or if it was on Fremont Street, it'd do much better business. It's not really at a spot where tourist walk and they can't walk by it and see it and just be like "lets try this!"
Went there in the early 1990's to sort out some spinning issues while in a AFF skydiving course. Quickly found the issue and then lost a bunch of money on roulette.
Technology and phones are cooler than this? Indoor skydiving is an absolute blast! People are so hooked on their phones its all they do now. At dinner. In movies. At work. While driving. There's no escape.
It's not that people are "into their phones" as one person commented. It's that activities once accessible to many are too expensive. Look at skiing, concert tickets, bowling, golfing, etc. We are becoming a society of watchers viewing what the privileged can afford.
Yeah is called a recession.. didn't some golf course closed by stratosphere like 2024 Nd built likev201.9. .and soon corcus circus might clised somce got new owner's 😅😅.
I don't live in Vegas all ways wanted to fry it when I did live there never did just go to China town lots of good food things to do even one of them smash rooms were you brake things idk if it's still there never been last time I was in vegas was 2021 ish
It's a niche market 150 for indoor skydiving or 50 bucks you can go skydiving for real 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if it was a good business idea there would be multiple places across the city like virtually everything else
Never knew this existed. Would have been fun!
Just go to one then. Like all I door sky diving is going away for good lol.

There’s a lot of indoor skydiving services unfortunately just not in LA there’s one right here in Atlanta IFLY
I’ve been living here for 18 years and I had no idea this place existed until now. I would have went here if I would’ve known
@@neonthefox3550 well then that explains it
Only one in that town maybe. ifly isn't that far from me. It's not new. Idk what you mean by that lol
@@JoeKyser Its the only one , it shouldn't have a problem with a high level of interest and business.
You could’ve given us a little more of a damn heads up.
I would have definitely gone there and done it if I knew it was closing

Let's open one up in Reno.....we would love to have one here!
I've been wanting to go. 😢
You had 40 years to do it. Now you have to travel if you want to go to one.

Maybe the Siegel Group wouldn't sell it to them.

I think he didn’t evolve in marketing. It’s unique and the only here? Should of taken advantage of that.
I been there 25 times past 40 years and would of loved to known this was there. never had a clue
So sorry that they are closing. And they ARE an attraction that I would think is something people would want to do.
Didn’t know it was here until I parked by it to go to cowboy Xmas
Just too expensive for a few minutes of fun. I would have love to do it. Sad to see it go.
I went there when they first opened
Never heard of it and I've lived here how long

I thought the economy is booming
Siegel Group owns it so it’s probably going to become apartments
Room for another CVS.
And we really need INDEPENDANT busineses. Corperations are taking everything over!!
It's OK, it will be another Starbucks soon.
shame
Try actually skydiving!
