she is so thoughtful, way more than most of todays celebrities
She is not thoughtful. She is a bengalan ,doing what bongs do best. Giving unwanted gyan. Just listen to their gyan, think about their hypocrisy and laugh🤣. Treat them like the clowns they are🤡. Dont take them seriously.😀
Yeah ....better than sadu Jaya Bachchan
An amazing personality! An inspirational artiste and a very versatile talent! Love Sharmila Tagore! From Bengali Art House Cinema to Bollywood Commercial Movies and Indian English Films, she done it all! From the sizzling 60's till date!
Amazingly surprised to hear her. Didn't know that she is that eloquent and articulate! Mighty impressed 👏
Young women should look up to such veterans like Sharmila Tagore for inspiration. They have flourished through many situations that were far from welcoming ✨
Look up for what?
@@mariakothari16 How she defied social constraints
@@_aididocial constraints or sit in lap of a nawab for money
Such an inspiration and she is so graceful!
Aak tho
@@mohitanand1844 the language uff shows your bg
She had tears when she spoke about the ache of having multiple grown children living apart.. yet she is so mature, without any bitterness. A legend. Thanks Nayandeep for the sensitive question.
She’s a Gracious and thoughtful person. Well said
Such a graceful lady ❤️❤️❤️
What a lovely profound and gorgeous person. I wish more people had her grace and generosity of spirit. Truly inspirational. Much love and respect inspiring.
She doesn't have complaints as she understands herself. But, the point to be noted is THE ACHE. It is not easy to handle !
One my favorites. I love the movie Chupke Chupke.
May god bless you. 💛
Wish I could ever meet you sharmila ji!! 😇
What a lovely lady! Graceful aging at its best.
Very well said! Respect!
Our husbands would keep the odacity to "allow" us as long we call them "husband" instead of partner or spouse. Because the word husband means "owner"..
So is पति or स्वामी।
Art is idolaku dulu..... Shsrmila Tagore Dan Nanda... Nanda sudah passed away....
That Grace and Wisdom..❤️
Thank you so much for this video, Love you, Sharmila Ji.
Amazing amazing lady 💕🙏🏼🙏🏼be blessed beautiful Sharmila!!
My needs are also complicated I want to do everything I want to have my cake and eat it too 😄 love it!
Nayan, may I request you to kindly upload the full interview 🥰🥰
Very beautiful lady 😍
Omg she was elegant she is and will always be
She's so beautiful✨
A RESPECTED PERSONALITY EVERGREEN. PRONAM.
For a change no botox!
Her mother was Assamese lady but she avoids it.. A very few interviws she said about it....why don't know
Taimur is a great name
I am sorry but she was never known for her versatility.
Watch An Evening in Paris, Amar Prem, Aradhana, Mississippi Masala....how are they same? The characters are different.
You must be blind or something
Chandni Shende
Madam, her filmy career is not only with Bollywood; She acted in 'Subjective Bengali movies' directed by Oscar winning Director Satyajit Ray; other director's film which are screened in World Film Festival which are much more different from 'hardcore commercial bolly movies' (in which she acted)
Apu's Sangsar (Apu Trilogy) - director satyajit ray
Nayak(The film star) - director satyajit ray
Simmaboddho (Within Limits) Satyajit Ray
Surjo Taran (Sun Symbol)- Director Tapan Sinha
Nirjan Saikat( In the lone sea beach) - director Tapan Sinha
Subho Maharat- Director Rituporno Ghosh
Antahin-Director Aniruddh Roy
Dooriyaan (Bollywood movie) - Director Gulzar...
and many more..
Watch her bengali movies too versatility is versatility nothing to do with your definition of it
Manoj Bajpayee never looked so bored 😅
and i wonder why you were slapped by Mala sinha and Rakhee gulzar, pray??????
i wonder why you read cheap showbiz magazine and believe them.
Why do they have to run subtitles. She spoke clear English. She wasn’t speaking in Bengali or French nor was her English accent way too western
Deaf and hard of hearing people benefit from subtitles.
How she is Tagore..is she not converted Muslim?🧜♂️🧜♂️🧜♂️🧜♂️
Sad to see the stars, not even artists, are being portrayed as icon. And told next generation to take inspiration from them.
She was just a star. Never known to have good acting skills
Right, she was never a Shabana azmi or even a Jaya Bhaduri who was a natural actress
Have you seen Amar Prem? She is a leading lady for Satyajit Ray. And you think she is not a good actor?
@@newsjunkieish sure .I love Sharmila Tagore.Who wouldn’t have loved her in Amar prem. But I still maintain that she’s a directors actor.A versatile actor is one who can do comedy also .In that sense Moushami Chatterji is terrific, have you seen Angoor, her comic sense is hilarious.Sharmila very rarely deviated from her comfort zone except for Mausam
@@archies8901 What about Chupke Chupke? Cinema is a director's medium. Theatre is where actors rule the roost.
@@newsjunkieish True. But you have Sanjeev kumar,Amol Palekar,Farookh sheikh,Naseeruddin shah,Anupam Kher ,Pankaj kapoor and Paresh Rawal who are from theatre ,who brought in something new to Hindi cinema. In chupke chupke, most of us remember only the incredible Dharmendra and his doubts in English grammar and his attempts with shudh hindi.Any other heroine of that day could fit into Sharmilas shoes in that movie,I dare to say very few could have replaced Dharmendra in that movie
Rich, suave & but not inspiring. May be media’s delight
Sharmila Then - I could lobby Congress to give national Award to my son for crap film like Hum Tum
Sharmila Now - Jeh and Tim baba are grabbing all spotlights.
Patriarchy is also when you are forced to change religion in order to marry the person you love. Didn't she convert?
Inspired for what...for wearing bikini???....being shameless means being bold now a days
Every actress wearing shorts dress..nothing new in it..helen,zeenat aman, mandakini etc etc..even nargis also..😒
@@sudipabose8442 okay that was my point of view..
She wore a swimsuit when 90% of the women didn't wear anything outside of saree or salwar. Also her swimsuit was not even that revealing or scandalous. You are the one who is making it 'shameless'. Nobody wears lehenga while swimming.
@@DGLeo482 did i ask your opinion? Go and comment somewhere else...this is my point of view...stop imposing your thoughts on others
Maybe upper class patriarch will not let others to do so as patriarchs will be "proudful" to do so? I hope I make sense..
Women have problem with male gaze..haha really
₹2 credited
I think what she means that men decide on behalf of women
I think you have problem with woman empowerment..lol.🤣🤣
@@amelie19842004 great sarcasm ......🙂
@@naturelover8121 thank you 🙂
what an embarrassment to bengalis and the legacy of Tagore lineage getting married to a muslim and giving birth to children who follow Islamic culture of having multiple wives and everything. She did very bad to her ancestors.
She's not an embarassment, you are. Please stop saying negatively about others lives.
I want to contact sharmila, it is very important for me, how to do?
