I was born in the ’90s, and all I can say is that the ’80s sure seemed like a great time to be alive-the music, the lifestyle, the style and fashion, and the people.
I was born in 1980 and I felt like I had a lot of freedom as a kid. I was big into video games, especially Nintendo, so most of my memories are relating to that. I could ride my bike to my friend's house a couple blocks away, play Mega Man 2 or Mike Tyson's Punch Out all day, then ride back home at night. My parents never really worried about me and I was never all that worried. I'm not sure if I would feel safe letting my kids do the same now (if I had kids).
For all the beautiful people who lived in the 80's, fell in love, struggled for a living and came out a success!! Cheers to you guys, I know, you guys are well over 50 now, settled with your families! Just like me! Keep living the Retrowave and do nurture your kids with the same set of values, mannerisms, charisma, style etc that you once had!! Love you folks❤
