In the middle of doing a heater core in my 2005 Nissan Xterra. Also going to replace evap coil and blower motor while I'm in that deep. Good God. Freakn Nissan.
I had the truck for 16 yrs. As long as the job cost under $2000.00 I'm OK with that.
How much does it cost to replace a heater core? mine has been leaking for a year
Dealer asking $3000.00 Canadian. I went to my trusted mechanic part under $200 canadian. (Spectra brand). Labour cost $1100.00

If I lived in a cold climate and this happened to my Pathfinder, I would quit my job, sell my house, bypass the heater core, and move to Florida.

Yes took 2 1/2 days for only one main mechanic to replaced heat core.
