- Here's a taste of our highlight of 2020: Playing Hot Head Bop with David Wise. Unforgettable. Thank you David for your incredible music and warm spirit. Until next time!
Love this ! - Was great playing with you. 2 minutes of volcanic happiness.
Your music engraved itself into my brain in my childhood and brings me joy everytime i hear or think about it. Thank you so much for that!
David, you are my favorite video game composer. You have a way of painting environment through sound that is simply unmatched. Happy Holidays and take care.
@@Saerkal Thank you so much for your kind words. Happy Holidays - and let's hope the world starts to look after each other a little more next year.
@@David3Wise Hear Hear! Say--I think the new Peter Gabriel album might contribute to that aspect. :)
I saw you guys live (If the camera panned 10-15 feet left you'd see my dumb face) and it was magical. I wanted to Buy you (David) a beer but never got the opportunity.
From now on, this saxophone is a canonical part of the song.
For a volcano level, real peaceful music.
yeah usually the theme is quite dramatic but this is ironically really chill
No way! You guys got to perform with David Wise!? Amazing! What a joy!
Can’t believe I just found this video. I’ve watched it over 10 times already. It’s just so beautiful. The synergy, the expert musicianship that truly emulates the original composition masterfully. Really very wonderful.
I think the most beautiful part of it all was at the very end when David Wise gave that nod of approval with a smile, then played in unison so epically. To me that’s like a dream come true!
my fav tune from dkc2.
*Playing this banger with the man himself! Wow! Great job guys!*
They performed with David wise, next its Jesus
Cool.
This is really a moment to celebrate!
What a Gem
This is fabulous!
Great take!!!
Beautiful ❤
Love that electronic in there.
That's actually kind of Inspiring: He is unsure, and not always plays good in case of sax, but he still having fun and people around him having a lot of fun playing with him)
I need a confidence like he have
Yep - I agree
I hadn't heard the piece for over 20 years
I've got no idea what key it's going to be in
And I certainly hadn't rehearsed it.
It's definitely not confidence
But a belief that eventually - we'll find something that works musically.
If I know what I'm going to do, before I do it - there's little point in doing it.
A bit like composing music
There has to be an element of unpredictability and spontaneity.
Working it out as we go along.
That's where the fun is for me.
@@David3Wise kind of terrified, that this is the comment, that you replied to xD
I hope I didn't came out as passively ruthless *nervous sweating*
Your ambience tracks are inspiring to me, even though I was probably way to late to the party, as a Person, who hasn't grew up on them, but rather heard them at the time of writing previous comment, only Two-three years prior.
In case of writing music though, that's a nice philosophy, can I steal it? I just sometimes randomly press notes on Piano/guitar in hopes of accidentally producing a potential for good melody (8 times out of 10 outcome is positive xD)
Still, thanks, man, for producing inspiration for composers all around the world and inspiring me, as a fellow Alto Saxophone player, with your performances)
With Russia from love. Steve Kvartz/Alina Aniretake (depending on my mood (Right now I am happy))
@@AlinaAniretake Thank you for your reply.
It's always great to hear what people think, appreciate you taking the time to post your thoughts.
If 8 out of 10 of your melodies sound good - please keep going. Most of my good melodies feel like happy accidents - but they are of course a result or trying things and modifying and adapting previous attempts.
And if anything I've done preciously, either good, or not so good - inspires you, or anyone else to create something musically - then that is a good result.
Wishing you all the best from the UK.
David, your work changed my life and deeply inspired me to compose. I can't thank you enough for your invaluable contributions to musical history and to art at large. I hope you know how many people's lives you enriched with your music.@@David3Wise
Nice!
Super quedo 👌👌👌👌👌
on fire
This is FUCKIN DOPE!!😂😂😂
You guys look like you're having a blast hahaha
Intonation issues on sax?
wonderful video :). i would like to use couple of seconds in a video, if thats ok? thanks
They keep him around like an appendix...
Wise, there's no saxophone in this song. Let me listen to the song
