    13:15 nice job mate! Although I'm sure evereyone was thinking: FFS mate, frame it a bit lower!!! 😀Thanks for the video!

      😂 thanks! UA-cam has rules. The full frame goes straight to the Naturally channel.

    Just keep practicing, I take things for granted and we really need the first mate to become competent in all areas of boat handling skills. We never know when we might need their assistance. 👍

    If you slip while hanging off the stern of the dinghy while outboard is in gear you will be seriously injured by the spinning prop and the dinghy will simply stay going. - very dangerous! Get on board and attach the kill cord before putting the engine in gear. I have seen toes been taken off by an outboard!

    Very professional and colourful production. Just purchased and watched your latest Sailing Naturally video. I left some positive comments (under M J Dunbar) too

      It’s such a lovely feeling to see a little bit of home when we are a long way away.

    Water looks lovely and clear but do you know ships are not allowed to make fresh water from sea water in the Med because of what you can't see.

      Really I’ve never heard about that. Can you send me a link about this?

    Any way you can link the head sets into the vid reccorder. Missing athe instructions.

      Yeah, great idea but the head sets can’t do that. We tried wearing lapel mics at the same time as the head sets which we hoped would work but it was a disaster because of feedback. Any sound people out there either a solution?
      Thanks.

    PLEASE!, For safety, try to avoid putting the dingy motor in gear while you are standing next to it. Boats, as you know, are squirrelly and getting into a habit of climbing next to an engaged motor is asking for stitches or worse. I would hate to hear that there was a prop injury. Just a hint of safety and staying concerned. Love watching Helios' education into sailing and boating. Keep it UP. Thank you.

    Hi guys
    Any tips on getting extended visa for Shengin, We are moving onto our boat next year and want to stay for 2 years, Any tips greatly appreciated

    • @sailinghelios2023
      @sailinghelios2023  Місяць тому

      Hi Sailor Pete, you can’t extend Schengen but there are some work arounds that people have found successful- eg: residence visa in a Schengen country and that allows you to travel in the Schengen area, bilateral agreements and what we have done which is travelling on a crew list. Have a look at those things and we are happy to chat by voice anytime and share what we have learnt.
      Regards
      Jude

      Thanks for worrying about me! But I wasn’t cold when this was filmed. Quite the opposite! It was about 35 degrees. Our videos are behind and this was filmed in summer.
