We dont have a bench. Sell Barnes. Hernandez. Fashnacht Gibbs. Sorensen. Replace with 2 or 3 actual decent players. Play Crnac in the CF role. If Sargent comes back and gets injured again sell him to. We need a right sided forward and please tell Sainz to actually cross and pass more.
The one positive I can see with having the Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve is that you get to have 'Boxing Day' food (which IMHO is superior to Christmas dinner) on Christmas Day!
You're right to speak about refs + officials in this country. It has become so bad within England, and it's getting worse. Lack of consistency, missing cards, losing control of the game, inconsistency in applying the game laws and how they retroactively review the games. You are also right about how footballers are attacking the referees. Why I think we should take a book out of cricket where respect of the umpire is a given I watch a lot of Dutch football and it's much better.
Is it time for Hanley? Been cast off and yet still ever present for Scotland and has always been solid and a consistent performer for us . The way we leak goals why are we not giving Grant a go?? Totally agree with paddy on his analysis spot on . We struggle defending set pieces,don't give away silly fouls like sainz did yesterday leading to there equaliser. Millwall don't have pace but our physical so Hanley is a must surely.
Attanasio managed decline and poor performance, yet they remain financially advantaged given the deal struck. A troubling scenario, particularly given no one truly knows what the Attansio plan is or what they want. Otbc
It's time to stop saying this is a project and to look to recruit some steel that is good at this level now. We were burned by recruiting poorer older players, but it doesn't mean we should never look back in that direction. We can look at experience. They are not all going to be rubbish.
Where can I make a contribution to the Barnes, Duffy, Sorenson and Hernandez leaving bus. It appears the EDP Team will connsidered the position serious only when we drop into the relegation zone.

Sunderland start slow most games and give the oppossition a chance if teams are too poor to take advantage they deserve all they get

Our two biggest weaknesses seem to be defending set peices and conceding cheap set peices
My neighbour is a STH at the Amex. He told me a lot of Brighton fans couldn’t wait to get rid of the set piece coach.

Hanley isn’t long term and for a few years now we keep looking at quick fixes. I’d give Hills a go instead
