Orlando fans blame vince for this series loss becasue he barely scored in a few games in this series, but those games were the games they won, so it didn't really matter. He clearly was the only one who came to play on Orlando in game 1, which dictated how the entire series would go. Dwight was atrocious this game, unfortunately so they lost.

Exactly. They criticize him because he had a terrible January but completely forget he had a pretty good season. He was one of the focal points in our two sweeps of Charlotte and Atlanta.

Why did Lewis try to play hero at the end? Carter was open for 3 and he was double teamed

Carter in alot of games scored high and few free throws , plays hard but loses and always go to a team who went to the finals but broke up when he got there , all I can say is Damn They buried that man's career then made him a role player who every now and then turns back a g****n clock s***s sad bru s***s sad.

at the end of the day this orlando magic team wasnt shit they got lucky in 09 because KG had his knee injury

Well they got lucky that Orlando didn't resign Hedo Turkoglu. I mean look at what our potential starting lineup would've been: Jameer Nelson, Vince Carter, Hedo Turkoglu, Rashard Lewis & Dwight Howard. We would've waxed Boston's ass if the Magic front office weren't so stupid.

@@elhajjmalikel6266 how did this comment get more likes, celtics was the much better team than magic, celtics injured lost in 7 to the magic, and that magic team couldn't even win 2 against lakers, while celtics in 2010 won in 6 healthy vs magic, even adding hedo wouldn't make a difference, and went 7 with a better lakers, in which they would have won if it wasn't for the poor officiating, celtics could have 3 peated if it wasn't due to these circumstances

@@theonlygoodonehere2259 that Magic team should've realistically beat the Celtics in 5 our 6 games. They dominated Games 1 & 3 of that series. Glen Davis hit a game winner in Game 4. He misses that shut and the series is pretty much done.
Against the Lakers, they missed a goaltend on Pau Gasol in Game 2 at the end of regulation which would have scored the basket for Courtney Lee to win the game. Magic win Game 3. Dwight Howard misses two free throws to seal Game 4. So the Magic could've easily been up 3-1 against the Lakers. I don't know what series you were watching but these are the facts.

The dunk contest was nice, its been 2.decades now you still cant accept the fact that carter was an underachiever. More athetic than kobe and tmac. But not the same desire as kobe and pierce.

@@theclassicmanila-style8435 Please. Pierce had a real superteam to win his ring. Carter had 18 ppg and 3.5 turnover per game Dwight Howard whenVince was 33-34 already. Carter was a better outside shooter, athlete, and finsher. In this game Ray Allen actually was the lead scorer. That Boston team was stacked.

@@mikesannitti6042 😂😂😂 then what happened to being a better athelete? Why is he not on kobe's level? Pierce was a better shooter and scorer overall. Pierce is a also a playmaker unlike carter who's a ballstopper. Pierce footwork makes up for the lack of natural gifts. Again, carter maybe the most atheletic player of all time but he lacked desire to the "that player" pierce on his own went to the ecf in 2002 and had bigget moments in the playoffs than carter. Again those dunk highlights were great. But I was watching nba on that era. Its kobe, tmac, pierce , ai, ray allen and I'll put carter last.

@@theclassicmanila-style8435 Vince usually averaged more assists than pierce, who was way more of a ball stopper. Pierce's best scoring year was 26ppg compared to Vince's 28ppg. Vince averaged over 20 ppg for 10 straight years while Pierce managed it only 8 times and not consecutively. Vince's career 3pt percentage is higher. Vince had more 40 pt and 50 point games.
