I’m an artist but made filmscore and unique beats too and I would always ask other professionals in the field how to do it for tv & film and FINALLLY I found some sites and dove in… low and behold within the first month some of my songs got picked up and accepted… And these were songs I thought were too weird… lol
This is informative. I know there's the "corporate winner's circle" stuff, or some kind of suspenseful synth music. Now, that being said, how do you weed out the sync agency scams out there?
I see that one stop is the preference for sync, how can I offer royalties for writing or producing while ensuring I own 100% and can provide ease for a sync agent or library.
Awesome video. Quick question however. I can find any answers on this anywhere so any information would be greatly appreciated. If I have music that isn't mixed in surround sound or compatible with dolby atmos, can I still possibly get my music placed for say an independent film that needs the music to be mixed for surround or dolby atmos? If someone comes across my music which is only mixed in stereo and they really happen to like it and want to use it would they still consider using it and just wind up asking me for the individual stems to make it compatible for the film? I'm still on the hunt for a sync library that I feel suits my music amongst many other factors, but this is something I have been wondering, searching and seeking answers for awhile before I settle on a library that works for me.
Wudup guys love the style and energy of this video, thanks for taking the time to put it together! One subject I cant seem to find an answer to on UA-cam is how to go about licensing a COVER song for a sync placement. Any guidance on this?
I have a question: if I wanted to publish songs for music sync licensing, do the drum samples create a mess or can they be used? from free packs for example
I'm a producer and I want to get into sync licensing but for some reason I'm nervous. When doing this should I be sending in actual beats or can I send in just loops?
Because they're more interested in selling courses. If they're making all this money from Sync Licensing, then how do they have time to build and market a course? And, why would they even care? I'm sure this is a case of over promise and under deliver that borders on being a scam.
I went to join the waitlist, but see all the information is targeted towards producers. I’m a songwriter. Will your sync course still be useful for me?
Hey, thanks for the video, I was wondering if you know how the sync licensing companies are dealing with AI generated stuff? Are there policies in place, or general approach? Not talking about crappy unfiltered AI, but I have a few tracks made by AI which I picked, edited, arranged and even put vocals on them - I’m worried whether reviewers would be able to overcome the stereotypes if you even mention AI

Can you submit beats that are on beatstars for sync?
Nope. They want to be the only one with access to the music because they’re paying 4 figures and up
def for me , im def interested and taking steps
Bout to make my beatstars account next week and tap tf in 🔥. I’m ready to take my craft serious as a professional

Is it good or bad to have songs up on Spotify or other streaming services if you are trying to get sync deals?
I'd like to know that as well.

Just getting into this as an indie artist. Thanks for the advise!

All Good Points!!
I have a question: if I wanted to publish songs for music sync licensing, do the drum samples create a mess or can they be used? from free packs for example
If it's a free pack, or if you paid for the license there shouldn't be a problem.
So I shouldn't sign up to taxi music or that a scam?
No stay away from Taxi! You shouldnt have to pay somebody to get your music out
Really informative guys, dropping gems like always, thank you 💙
Thanks you Nathan… good content 🎉😊
Glad you enjoyed!
Mannn i need some contacts lol wheres these libraries?

Perfectly normal, what makes you the most nervous? Actual beats is the best way to go right now
@@XcaliberZeroSync Idk I believe I’m a good producer but sometimes I doubt myself an my sound because it’s not the typical sound that you would hear.

Why no one give you a list of the best libraries to upload to?
