And I would suggest instead of listening to this engineer guy who is not really considered an actual scholar, but in fact is a bit of a scam, you should listen to actual scholars like Dr Israr Ahmed or mufti menk etc. Even better would be to read the hadith books yourself as they are the direct source on most information re Islam after the Quran. You will be in a better position then to know and compare. Re stories, tbh I don't give importance to stories about things I cannot verify and in Islam too you must never believe in anything without verification. Hope that helps
