They could have made it clearer that Michael is a supernatural being, even if he is. How can a guy who has multiple abilities (like creating illusions, seeing through walls, disorienting people around him, and turning a person's evil against them) lose fingers and have his own mask damaged? It's also illogical that he supposedly "died" at the halloween ends when evil never dies. Your opinion is right, Laurie's daughter really should have checked if he really died and continuation beating Michael until something happened
