NPB has changed the regulation for camping @ubin, if you have not applied the permit, make sure not to set up any camp fire even at the designated campsite. Hi uncle. What are your views on going to ubin to overnight and fishing during the 7th month hungry ghost festival? What is your wise advice? Better to fish near the jetty area or don't even go?
I've been overnight fishing @ Ubin 30 yrs ago on almost every weekend no matter the month. If you've seen my UA-cam MLFS.4 the overnight fishing camping trip which has caught 16 barra @ Kg Sensory pond was in the 7th month, and we met the owners from the nearby fish farm, went there also in the midnight just to pickup the durains until morning. It all depends on your fishing attitudes and motivation, If you're a nature and animal lover, then why should you worry for? But everybody's energy level is different, for the beginner of overnight fishing @ the remote areas, my advice is not to go in kampong noordin, malayu and puaka bridge, just for their mental and psychological readiness, this'll take a long time to build up the confidence for such a situation. Juletong campsite is ok to visit. 👍👍👍 Doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness...

Just apply @ AXS machine but 2 weeks in advance.
But I always camp @ ubin without a permit, just don't set up the campfire 🔥.
