My experience with the volumetric trucks, you can ask them to close the stone gate or open the sand gate more for prime out. I’m pretty sure they have high and low cement. I always ask for high / full cement to start.
Always try to have the boom in A when priming out 2 up 2 down then you have gravity helping you and your only pushing concrete tru the first 2 sections of the boom.
Here in Ireland we don't get whether like that we are not set up for temperature that low if it is going to stay below freezing in the day time we don't pour but we only get 1or 2 day's a year when it stays below freezing in the day.
Love the videos, have a small pumping company my self . Glad to see you guys work well together and get it done . Where are you guys located? Seems like it’s always cold lol
I like to back it off and then keep just a touch of pressure on it so that I can just tap it with a hammer instead of taking my reducer off. It can be dangerous if you don't do it right but with the perfect amount of pressure it works out good.
What drone are you guys using? I have a mavic air 2 and the software update sucks. It won’t let me fly more then 100’ feet and forget about flying out of line of sight.
I actually just did that today. The bucket didn't work perfect before the weekend so I put in a hard sponge first then a soft sponge. I agree, it's a nice guarantee

Thanks for the advice!

Great content!
Watching from 🇨🇦
Thanks! We appreciate it!
Where in Canada?
@@JakeinJackson Southern Ontario Brother!!!
Do a video explaining the truck and what it does. That would be fun to see!
I have a video coming soon of a walkthrough! Thanks for the input.

We're out of eastern idaho but we do a lot of work in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
What about you? Where are you out of?
My company is pump it llc. We are out of Wilmington Delaware, most of our work is around Philly.
So we don’t get the nice views like you guys. Is building busy out there with all the people moving .
I do like the views! But you guys probably pour some really cool stuff over there!
With those volumetric trucks get them to make you a couple wheel barrows of Grout then go to the regular mix. You will be thankful
Good to know, yah those volumetrics are tricky
I don’t bother getting them to mix the grout, just get them to dump the 1st couple of barrows out and it’s turd
Just so your aware when you plug reverse it one or two strokes intake hose off and undo your plug way safer so you don’t blow your ass away

You had more than a couple strokes against that plug lol
There was a little air behind it too which didn't help.
That’s crazy with the tube
Nice
Buy some dern slick packs
Pumping fence post mud is the worst! That’s about all those volumetric trucks are good for! Cool video though.
Thanks!

We have a mavic air 2s and I haven't downloaded the most current update. Good to know!
I’ve never done the bucket thing, I’d love to try it but I couldn’t trust it!
So do you just water wash? I'm always curious about how different regions do things differently!
@@JakeinJackson only use sponge balls, 1 ball plenty of water then another sponge! Never had an issue in 20 years
