One year later this is in the recommended and you know what I'm watching it again
Just letting you know, worker spam works very well against the huge whip spider as he one shots trapjaw ants and his long reach means most your trapjaws die before they even touch him
You missed the giant mantises.. might be useful on harder levels.

Very unique an ant without a soldier
I usually build 7 warriors, 7 spitters at the same time, and then upgrade the spitters, expand the spitters to 19, rxpand the warriors to 19, upgrade 7 spitters, upgrade 7 warriors, upgrade all spitters, and at the end upgrade all warriors
That way you get splas as quick as possible

It seems a few other pointed this out already, but those sneaky mantids got away with heir camouflage.
(By the way, my strategy for the whip spider was to send the ranged from one entrance and the trapjaws from the other. That way if he attacks the trapjaws, he will get sprayed but if he attacks the formica sprayers, he gets bit by trapjaws.)
Imagine Multiplayer in this game...
multiplayer would be fun..... but hard
It’d be kinda impossible cause imagine a player starts off there colony then someone else has a giant colony and raids them-
@@tearex12345 Nah I'd imagine it like this, you have matchmaking system, queue up, you and your oponnent(s) start at the same time
And the spiny grasshoppers/crickets as you call them are kaytidids
it is fine i came back from Thailand and felt the same
Firstguy to admit that mole crickets are scarier than whip spiders
BTW did you notice, in the pause thing there's something that says 'achievements'
Their gonna have achievements by the next update probably

I think you would benefit from slowly adding more food storage, your ants are using a lot of time doing nothing. Since this isn't timed or you get progressive harder enemies on a time schedule it's not that important, but its very important on most missions.
oh and when you play babysitting its hard cause for some reason all enemys are stronger its an interesting level
Baby Sitting (xtra level) is hard on easy difficulty, so if you play it I suggest to play it on easy
We have a wingless wasp in South Africa called a velvet ant. In the US I believe it's called a bull ant. A wasp, not an ant, but I thought ya might like ta know!
If you're wondering why the trap jaws yeeted themselves back is because they heal themselves and get out of combat.

At 9:32 u lost some ants from the Wolf Spider. Don't lose your sight.
At 14:18 Your workers did died quickly.
At 44:15 1 ant went & died by the Whip Spider.
At 48:42 did u said "Huntsman". They're "Harvestman".
At 52:00 1 ant went & died by Tiger Beetle.
At 1:26:40 to 1:28:28 Wow, Man.
At 1:32:10 u waited for cocoons. Look at the top right numbers, they've completed already.

He is waiting for the cocoon to grow to max size, ready to hatch just in case too many ants die, and they could be replaced faster
Every time I get good at the level the stupid whip spider attacks me
in the menu there is a button (realistic mode) try it id like to see that
savageslg 32 it removes map markers.
But you missed the Mantis
And you do have the leaf cutters in the story mode you did a free play with them on Gene thief but would love a new freeplay hopefully they have a new map
