Excellent information using a Laser level and associated tools. What are considerations in determining shelf widths during the pond build process and edges of shelves. Does rain and loose soil require amending the shelf with other materials? I ask because sometimes shifting heavy boulders without a crane can be miserable work. I am just looking for more technical hacks for the DIY builder without machinery support and on a budget. Oh and a glossary for the different features a pond can have like a skim cove, deeper streams, constructive wetland, fish cave locations, etc.😎
