On my second day in Kuching, I took my camera along to show my UA-cam family what this incredible city has to offer, and I can honestly say, I’ve fallen in love with it! Strolling along the waterfront, everything about Kuching feels different from any other city or town I’ve explored in Borneo. The streets are clean, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s no shortage of sights to experience.
Known as the City of Cats, Kuching blends its rich history with modern charm. From the serene floating Indian Mosque to the striking pedestrian bridge spanning the Sarawak River, this city is a perfect mix of old and new. You can feel the legacy of the White Rajah Dynasty around every corner, making it a must-see destination for anyone exploring Borneo.
After just two days here, Kuching has quickly earned a spot in my top 30 cities to recommend to anyone traveling. It’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
