Yay, Brooklyn. Next adventure, Top Gun in Fallon. When I was in the Nevada Air Guard (loooong time ago), they flew us in old, old, planes that were old. My comforting thought was "The pilot can't get down without me," 'cause they didn't have chutes. That I could see, anyhow.
Came here for the hiking videos but you got me hooked on laughing at your videos so I finally clicked on something totally not hiking related. And to my surprise you went to MY hometown! I work 4 blocks east of the Pike Place Market and was that close when you were in town. I was born here so of course I recognized everything. You should do the wet part of the Washington PCT when it's not raining! That's when I'd do it and likely will since you convinced me that I could do a section hike without quiting my job for half a year.
I remember watching this on your other channel and getting so excited for my first flight and meeting you and everyone else! So glad to know you're uploading on here.
crh78 I think I watched that movie 20x before the age of 10. NO WONDER I WAS SCARED. On the flight back, when it was dark and raining, I watched the wing the whole time.
Wow you're ears must have been burning. I was just thinking about you and how we haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you are planning another epic hike for this summer.
i did that flight a few times. i just don't like the feeling when the plain is taking off. now you can travel you will have to go do the appellation trail.
Did you know that William Shatner played the airline passenger in the original Twilight Zone "gremlin"? John Lithgow is good but I think Shatner nailed it. But I'm biased being a child of the '60s. Looks like you had a great time in Seattle. Still working on my lightning issues. I gotta stop researching lightning problems on the PCT and JMT.
Eric Bost I did a lot of research too. When it comes down to it, lightning can do ANYTHING. There is no guarantee. Which is scary. BUT, learning the best practices and taking any precautions you can and learning to read the weather will usually work out fine. Just don't climb to an exposed rocky lake at 10,000 feet... like SOMEONE did.... ahem.... (points to self, idiot!)
LandmarkAdventures Abso-freaking-lutely! I've flown dozens of times, and I've never had the pleasure of sharing the company with such a wise little Buddha clown. :)
Cute kid; yours? That red hair is kinda growin on me, leave it. That planes popping kinda sounded like the space shuttle on re-entry. So you had a Gig in Seatle, maybe? I didn't know you could play the organ, how much did they tip you? My last plane trip was about 50 years ago; I never saw that many seats though. Best thing about flyin, is that you get to your destination quicker and that could be both good and bad. My trips were short ones; straight up and straight down, never had time to throw some Jack down, though. Glad to see that you survived. Love your vids. ATB, Jb.
You sure? Maybe, you're not telling us everything? Those sky bound outings are great for bonding. I think she's got your eyes and your hair before yeah dyed it. Maybe you didn't have to get permission if she's kin. She made a great addition. Maybe we'll see her on your next outing, or maybe we'll see her on the Tonite Show; I don't know-o? Just kidding. ATB, Jb.

Well done! I hope you conquer you fear of piñatas (but it's good to remain scared of piranhas).
