How to share private YouTube videos

- The settings to share private videos recently moved into UA-cam Studio making it easier to manage private video sharing.
You can share private videos during the upload process or from the video Details page.

Thank you for doing this. But, I seem to have a further question and am wondering if you knew the solution.
I can now share a private video with other users but I found it no longer possible to share with a batch of users, which I could do with the older version of the YT studio. I mean I now need to key in every single email address into the box instead of copy and paste a list of user emails. Is there any solution to fix the problem in the latest version of the YT studio?

Unfortunately it looks like copy pasting email addresses no longer works. I recommend sending feedback to UA-cam directly about this, explaining why you would like this feature to work. Use the feedback option on the bottom of the UA-cam studio left menu.
Thank you for the video. I've tried to share a private video with my friend and I've ticked 'Notify via email' but no email received. I've tried again using my orher email address and again no email received. Any suggestions, please?
Have they checked their spam or junk mail folder? Also are you sure you are sending it to you their Google account email?
Yes, we both checked our spam folder and other folders, but there's no email. And I put the gmail address to send the notification. It worked just fine last March, so it's quite puzzled me now.

And can your friend view your video when signed in to the Google account you shared with?
I'm wondering if the issue is the notification or the private sharing.
@@PeggyKTC well, there was a message popped up said youtube can't save the changes, but then it solved. I guess maybe it needed more time to save the change.
But now I've solved the problem by sharing the link of the private video. When the link clicked, there's a notification asking her to sign in first and she signed in with the email address I put in the sharing box. And it worked. I hope this could be an alternative solution for others who might have the same problem. Thank you so much for your time, Peggy :-)
I'm glad it's solved. It seems that there is an issue notifying people that it's been shared with them, and I'll pass that on to UA-cam.
it would be helpful if you also shared it with UA-cam directly using the feedback option. The more reports they get, the more they realize that this is an issue that needs fixing.
Repeatedly after I do these steps it says it cannot save my video. I can upload videos no problem, but it will save when I share with multiple email addresses. It used to do this easily, now not so much. Any thoughts? Thank you!
That sounds frustrating. Does it make a difference if you use a different web browser?
Also try temporarily disabling all extensions.
@@PeggyKTC unfortunately no, I have tried different browsers, restarting the computer, refreshing the page.... sometimes it works, but not consistently and I’m not sure why. Thanks for responding, I suppose it is a glitch in the update.

@@HarmonicsTraders I have been having less trouble the last couple of days, and have found that if I reload the youtube studio page after each upload it is saving the changes. Sometimes I have to upload the video, save it, and then reload the page to add email addresses.
