Erin you did it again! This layout is very outdoorsy and catches your eye with color. I wasn’t sure about the blue, but it WAS the right choice. I love it. TFS ❤
Another lovely layout Erin. I always enjoy your outdoor layouts because I have a hubby and son who go four wheel driving and camping and so there are always photos to be scrapped. I love what you did with the patterned paper as well, I initially thought they were too colourful and would overwhelm the pics but you have a knack for making colour choices and I appreciate your explanations along the way as you pull it all together. It makes me realise that there are other ways of using patterned papers and the stamps as well. 😊❤
Thank you, I'm happy you found the layout idea inspiring. I love scrapbooking outdoor pics too and there are plenty of them so I’m always trying to see outdoor layout idea in unexpected paper packs.
Great layout! I love how you use your themed papers in a non-themed way. (If that makes sense)😅 Amazing embellishment clusters as always. It's my favourite part of your videos, seeing what great ideas you're going to come up with each time. Also it's very helpful when you explain why you're using each colour and P/p.. Gives me inspiration. Tfs😊
Thank you Mary, I have noticed the hunting specific stamps do not come along very often and you have to grab them up when they do. I am glad you enjoyed this layout idea.
Love your layout and how all the papers from the Christmas pack worked for your outdoor page! I would personally like to say thank you for no dead animal shots. I almost turned it off when I heard that it was a hunting trip...but then you quickly told us it was unsuccessful...so I kept watching. I'm not against hunting if the animal is killed quickly and the purpose is for food...but I am sensitive toward animals and don't like to see any death photos.
Love the outdoor layouts you do. I wish we were more outdoorsy. I too, am a boy mom, mine are both grown now though. I’m definitely going to order the log round for my December order. Thanks for another great layout, Erin!
Thank you Erin. Everything you do is art. And everything you do is so be autifully balanced. When you held up the beautiful photo of the lake I wondered if you had ever considered scrapping a 5 x 7" photo by itself. I often print a larger photo and would love to see what you would do with a single 5 x 7 on a 12 x 12 page.. No pressure. Just a thought. Again - many thanks.
Thank you, that is high praise and I am glad you enjoy the ideas. My crafty friends and I all collaborated sharing ideas for scrapbooking with large photos. Here is a link to my video which will lead you to the others. It was a fun challenge and one I will definitely do again ua-cam.com/video/q4pAcUokgk8/v-deo.htmlsi=-7gexOrCSmncpgv6
Absolutely love this layout...I had to go and order the Frosted Forest bundle (every time I watch one of your videos I am a little poorer for what I order (maybe I need to stop watching you...NOT). TFS
You have a great eye for beautiful photos. Do you just use your phone? I love all your pages! Thanks for the great explanations as to why you do what you are doing. So helpful.
Erin- what size do use when you are in print to size app for a “4x6” but you print with the final border 5 1/4 x ? . I might not being very clear. So what numbers are you sizing in print to size for a 4x6 ? I hope I was clear but not sure. Thanks Erin. And always your layouts are amazing ♥️♥️♥️
Hello, that is a great question. I typically print my photos slightly smaller to allow for a white border. For example a 3x4 photo will actually be 2.7x3.7. A 4x6 will be 3.7x5.7. The reason I end up with photos 4x5.25 is due to the format the iPhone takes them. I can still make them a 4x6 when printing but often I would lose important details cropping them to fit. I have discovered I prefer 4x5.25 because they still have the impact of a 4x6 but fit a little easier on the scrapbook layout.
Hello, isn't the Frosted Forest set a neat one? It can be found in my shop here www.stampinup.com/products/frosted-forest-bundle-english?demoid=2297233
I really enjoy the way the embellishments let your eye wander over the pages, and the pop of blue is a fabulous touch!

I totally understand and you are in good company feeling that way 😊
I love this. Those deer dies are amazing...year round. (thanks for mentioning me, btw, I think I need that tree slice stamp. My list just grew! TFS!
Thank you! The tree slice set is a must. I need to challenge myself to use the other images in that set too.
Love this!
Thank you, I am glad to hear it!

You have a great eye for beautiful photos. Do you just use your phone? I love all your pages! Thanks for the great explanations as to why you do what you are doing. So helpful.
Thank you for the sweet compliment. I have a very nice canon camera, however, 99.9% of my photos are taken with my iPhone 14
