NEW 2023 PSE Dominator Duo
Вставка
- Опубліковано 31 лип 2024
- New for 2023, PSE introduces the Dominator Duo. This is an ambidextrous target compound bow, meaning one bow can be set up to shoot right-handed or left-handed. Available in three lengths with three different cam offerings, the Dominator Duo also features a new spacer system, where you don't have to remove the axle to change the spacers. They clip into place. The shoot-through riser and vertical limbs at the pocket make this bow rigid and steady through the shot.

As a left hand person it’s good to see options
Great video guys! Keep up the good work!
Awesome review PJ looks like a nice bow with something different. Glad they went to the snap in shims. Trying to tune a last year model was a pain
Great in-depth vid, Would have like to see you talk about how ridiculously fast the 38” ATA on the M2 cam is, really interested in seeing how that feels with it pushing speeds faster than most hunting bows.
Excellent bow particularly being ambidextrous. As a lefty I have been put off due to the unavailability of bows particularly on the entry level. My wife is also lefty and as a beginner shooter I have struggled to find a nice starting package with decent draw weight (i.e. 5-50) reasonably priced. If PSE would come up with such starting package it would be great.
Wow I thought everybody has covered all bases there are still things for them to come out with that are pretty damn good and different 👍
I wonder how the grip feels, as this is an ambi bow, so does it feel different to a RTX, or Citation grip?
Can the draw length be adjusted to 26” if it’s originally 27”-31”?
Pse hit a home run with this bow and shim system
I need it i want it super fast
i wonder if this would be a good hunting bow.
I want to have Compound but can't afford to buy it 😢
Nobody going to mention that it's almost 20 fps faster than any other 40" bow ? I'd love to see real world numbers. That being said, it looks like they put something good together.
Pj owns a lot of bows lol
What’s that electric thing on your scope bar ? How does it called ?

@@LancasterArcherySupply WOW ONLY 175 BUCKS !!!
I would love it if someone in the industry could explain to me why there aren't shoot through cable systems in a bow like this. They centered the grip, string stop, and marketing this as left and right-handed, a shoot through cable system would allow left and right-handed "swap" to be nothing more than swapping accessories. PLUS, presumably more balanced tension and torque in the system I know there's a patent out there, but I would think a licensing agreement could be worked out or a change to the split through cable system could be engineered. Seems like all they would need to do is design symmetrical cams and slap another cable guard on the other side to spread cables apart.
I would love to know more about this from someone in the know.
Not sure if you know about this rule depending on what format you shoot but for sure In World Archery you can only make contact with thr bow at the grip and the release. Many years ago when the cables were in shoot thru configurations people were being pulled up for their arm touching the cables.
There is also the fact you then need 5 long strings to make a set, loading an arrow can be a bit more of a pain and striking the outer set of cables is more likely.
You can do a split cable system, I've seen many over the years, like Liam said though, they're a bit more expensive to make the actual strings and the modifications can be annoying. Barnsdale archery was making cable splitters for years ( not sure if they still do )
I think mostly the system died off because you can get around the side load issue relatively easily, there's really no need to do a full shoot through.
There have been bows with shoot-through cables for many years. Have a look at OK archery in Germany. They make bows with both a shoot-through riser and shoot-through cables.
The name of the shim system is EZ.220
every other manufacturer should be scrambling right now to conjure one these up
WOW !!! GREAT LOOKING BOW AND ONLY 1700 BUCKS !!!!!
They already made this exact bow years ago. Cool to see it come back but nothing new here but cam options.
They had an ambidextrous bow several years ago. This bow and that bow are not the same.
@@pjreilly3997 Sure, new technology, better riser design and a different feel in the hand I’m sure from the old ambi dominator. 2 similar bows achieving the same result under the same branding.
@@pjreilly3997 REALLY NICE PJ , I SHOOT REALLY GREAT WITH MY 800 DOLAR BOWTECH SPECIALIST 2 , I WONDER HOW MUCH BETTER I COULD BE WITH THIS , OMG !!!!
haha..is there any bow that PJ doesnt think is awesome?
Yes…..I don’t review bows I cant talk positively about.
@@pjreilly3997 YOU DA MAN PJ !!!!
You can't possibly like every bow you try?
Correct. And I don't make videos on the bows I don't like. I don't feel it's right for me to talk negatively about a product someone put hard work into just because I don't like it. That alone doesn't make it a "bad" bow.
I like your response PJ. Because everyone is different and different bows fit people better. I shot PSE last year and I just switched to bowtech. I feel it fits me better but I didn’t hate the PSE just wasn’t for me. Great video PJ Reilly. PSE made a nice bow there.
@@pjreilly3997 EGG-ZACT-LEE !!!
Same bow different year. Can't believe the consoomers are so enticed to put down another 1½ grand every year.
They had a model that shoots from both sides of the riser already?
@@_DeFiNiTeLy_Not_BrAd_ same bow about 9 years ago
@@keith3658 They had an ambidextrous bow about 9 years ago, but this bow and that bow are not the same.
To be fair the original Dominator was not truly swappable like these bows because it had hybrid cams. So you actually needed the correct cams which isn't a problem on this Duo cause it'd symmetrical.
@@_DeFiNiTeLy_Not_BrAd_ Nope
No thanks?
Dominator Duo…? Sounds like a sex toy.
Holy Darton Vegas copycat !!!
Yeah it's kind of amazing it looks just about identical to the Vegas. From the thumbnail I thought it was a Darton review lol
What about the German OK bows, I'm sure Darton Vegas was not the first of its kind either😂
@@liamboyle9199 absolutely correct my friend ! Not many more that can go left or right !
@@liamboyle9199 Does look a fair bit like the dartons and the OK absolute series.
This is quite possibly the ugliest and cheapest looking bow PSE has made in recent memory.
