- I had someone request my analysis of Rasputin so went and cut Grigori out of the Vods and uploaded him! FGO's version of Kirei is a unit that many celebrated but ultimately had weird opinions on. In this video I talk about why his performance is fine and that he's one in a long line of Arts units who isn't always designed to refund to full.

Definitely late to the punch with this one, but someone requested I upload the Rasputin Analysis I did after getting back from New Years. I did manage to roll him myself and so I've had the opportunity to use him some and find him to be an intriguing unit. I hope everyone is having a blast with LB 7.2! Buff success rate doesn't change the chance of his Guts triggering

I'm the person who asked if you could review Rasputin, so big thanks for uploading this!
Kotomine is my favorite Fate character, so I've really been anticipating him finally getting added to the game all these years later, and as a New Years' servant, no less! His kit, however, while seeming very fitting of his masochistic undying nature, did seem a bit lacking in damage to me on paper, and I saw plenty of people criticising him as being "too weak" or "disappointing."
I'm NA only, so I haven't gotten to use him myself, and will roll the hell out of him regardless of how "good" he is, anyway. But it was nice to hear you break his kit down from an entirely neutral perspective, and make excellent points that his damage *can* pop off--if you use him right. In the end, him being a seemingly undying looper who only gets stronger the more he dies, and when he's fighting evil enemies sounds pretty damn cool to me!

Rasputin's Moon Trait isn't really a spoiler but more of a reference to one of his Divine Spirit Components, Bahloo(The guy on his 3rd skill), who is an avatar of the moon/moon spirit. Even Atalanta has it for some reason

With this it's (almost)possible to create OG fate battle formation.
Rasputin is really impressive & I am super glad that I got him. He helped me cleared the fight from Lostbelt 7 story section 19: progress arrow 4 [Angel's Relic (David) Battle] which is the battle where most players claim that it is one of the hardest fights in the story, in just 5 turns with a 3 party team of Ul-Olga Marie, Mashu and Rasputin (NP1).

I did some research but couldn’t find an answer. If you have necromancy on him, does both his own guts and the CE guts have a chance to proc. Like if your one fails, the calculation can be ran again and maybe the CE will save you
having necro equipped actually stops the second "infinite" guts from even activating, as only the 1st guaranteed guts is stackable with other guts, so it might be useful if you plan on never leveling the skill, but at lvl 10, Kirei's built-in necro on the skill has a higher chance to activate than the CE does. It would be pretty cool if they worked together, but unfortunately, the devs thought of that.
Just want to clarify the “taunt glitch” stuff. Correct me if I’m wrong, but in my experience if I still have other units in the front line, the enemy can still attack a servant whose guts just proc’d again. Happens all the time with units like Georgios for example. The enemy turn only ends immediately for me if the guts unit is soloing. Now Raz’s skill 3 is still excellent with this in mind, since he can continue taunting for the full three turns with some luck even after that first guts proc, but he’s looking at getting hit 6-9 times if there’s a front line rather than 3.
im not so sure abt the buff success rate up actually affecting his chances at all.
Glitch? I always thought it was a feature! lol ... that is why I always make a surprised pikachu face whenever it doesn't work. It has happened more often that I would like to admit.

I'm at the point in my NA account where I'm pretty well rounded and can kind of just roll the units I want to have. I'll probably be rolling him in 2 years
I guess I understand why they made it so that buff success rate CE/skills do not effect him. He would be insanely overpowered.. however, I also do not believe it is right for the dev’s to just decide which count as a “buff” on some servants and which doesn’t.
I mean, let’s be honest here. It’d be hella fun to have kirei do infinite guts.
Unfortunately buff success chance up doesn't guarantee his guts
Himiko and Iyo are immune to poison (Himiko is also immune to Curse and Iyo to Burn),
Mapo tofu is good.
Can't rate a unit by only looking at their stats....
I have him at NP5 and he's disappointing
