Thanks Kevin. I play baritone uke in a ukulele band at the Country Club in Sanctuary Point NSW Australia. I really enjoyed this lesson and will practise it. Cheers, Ruth
I’m in New Zealand Kevin cruising with you. I’m 66 yo and picked up the ukulele starting with a Kala tenor. Loved it and now trying the baratone. Enjoying the mellow tones. Thanks for all you do.
Just to say after revisiting this a few times I"m starting to get the blues "effect" that I hear when you play! Feels good, thanks. You picked 3 good chords for me to learn with.
Wonderful! If you're looking for more learning resources including song sheets/tabs, lesson exercises, practice tracks and dedicated play alongs, drop by the AllForUke website and have a look around. All the best - Kevin | Allforuke.com
Already ordered my baritone to be ready for this course! Will arrive thursday! I‘m a little afraid that I might get all mixed up, since I‘m still learning the uke with all its chords in gCEA. There are also Baritones that are tuend this way. Would you recommend? Wishing you all a good time tonight- I will catch up on Thursday! :-)
Great to be doing this, thanks Kevin. My only comment is that I need to start with a simpler strum and work up to the full island strum and the mute version of same. I'm curious as to which simpler 12 bar pattern you'd recommend to start with ... something better than DDDD but not as complex as DDU UDU. Again, great to be getting these blues lessons with my Baritone.
You are the absolute best and love your work, music, voice and teachings.
