      That’s what I’m using right now GLUEMASTERS for the first time and I didn’t know what happened. I was so upset I thought it was the rhinestones.

    Can I use regular acetone nail polish remover instead?

    Is this for plastic rhinestones ? Or Glass? Thank you in advance I keep going back to listen 😅

      This is glass. You can also do this in solid resin stones but the coating will come off of AB resin stones.

    Can you use it also for synthetic stones?

      Like resin? Yes. I recently learned that you can also use a heat gun to remove the haze as well.

      I think she's saying it'll break it down. Kinda like when u go to get acrylic nails taken off they soak them in acetone to break it down :( I have this problem too I think I'm gonna go over the clouded areas with a cheap liquid glitter liner from a beauty store.

    Do you have a way to clean the haze off of resin rhinestones?

    • @TheTumblerUniverse
      @TheTumblerUniverse  3 роки тому +3

      I have successfully done it with rubbing alcohol but make sure you test a few first. It seems like a hit or miss method.

    I have 20 or so amethyst crystals that have that glue haze all over them and I've used nail polish remover and I soaked em for days on end and the haze is still there...is the acetone you use different from nail polish remover?

    • @TheTumblerUniverse
      @TheTumblerUniverse  3 роки тому +2

      That's interesting. Honestly, I'm not sure. I see people talk about acetone and nail polish recover as if they were different things but I always thought it was the same stuff. Try removing the stones, letting them dry and wipe them down really well with a soft cloth and a drop of baby oil.

      Some nail polish removers are non acetone because if using on acrylic nails, it breaks the acrylic down. You have to find acetone nail polish remover. Or just pure acetone. I made the same mistake of using non-acetone remover and it didn’t work. Also, polish remover usually has other ingredients so that may be why as well. I’m assuming you’ll want pure acetone. I’m going to try it on my items and see.

      Acetone is just one of many ingredients in nail polish remover. Most nail polish removers are less than 60% acetone and some don’t have any at all. Straight acetone is more caustic which is why it’s good to use if you want to remove acrylic nails or, say, superglue haze.

      @@taylorhelton8241 ty for this....still have those amethyst in my work space ..soaked em in mineral oil and it made haze dissappear but after a month or so haze shows again..I'll go and buy some straight acetone and give it a whirl ..any scraping involved?..as far as removing glue or does it just eat it away for you?

    I use e6000 and it holds like A CEMENT! My crystals, rhinestones and metal never lost the shine and sparkle. Yes, IT STINKS BUT it is worth it. I used Aleene's Jewelry and Metal glue once (because my e6000 was out) ON MY JEWELRY TREE, WHAT A (HUGE MISTAKE AND THE COMPANY SAID IT IS BECAUSE I WAS WORKING WITH PLASTIC and it is like a super glue so and it turned all my crystals and rhinestones so cloudy. I never use plastic!!! Never again for Aleene's anything, a warning should be on their packaging.

    🙏💕“Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen

    💕❤ Gospel of salvation: 💜💕💜💖💞💜💕For what I received I passed on to you as of [first importance]: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time,
