Man I spent a thousand hours on this game, 900+ on the first disc before it cracked due and the remaining on the 2nd disc...still hoping to see this as backwards compatible

I bought this game for $5 on Steam sale and I love it. Played the original NFS:HP on the PS2 many years ago and bought it for Xbox360 as well but didn't play it much. Albeit missing a few PS2 features, NFS:HP2 is a spectacular game especially on a high end PC with a 720p wall projector!

This might be harder like Most Wanted, The Run, 2015, Rivals, and Payback due to its steering.
You're by no means the smoothest racer but damn, you do make it exciting!

everytime i drift i let go of the throttle, turn to the direction im drifting, and use nitro. i stop if i need to
its better if you just drift and when you come out of the turn then hit nos you will keep your speed up

np i figured that out myself after a while but it really does help out
worksmagic89 you can slingshot the car after drifitng by hitting the NOS right before the end of drifting. some car will do it some wont
