For people who are mad that GTB's son died, GTB was the one who dragged her child into this mess in the first place. Her son didn't need that heart transplant right away, but because she wanted to KILL FL's child, she insisted on the surgery. So by the time FL had completed her revenge and the ML (who was basically a glorified trophy husband) was penniless and she (GTB) was swimming in medical bills and debt and in jail for prostitution, there was no money to keep up with the boy's medical bills. Medical bills that were probably higher than usual because he just had (a completely unnecessary) surgery and needed the upkeep.
If GTB had cared more about her son than her vanity, she would have had the sense not to make an enemy of a rich, powerful woman who had NOTHING to lose after she lost her child.

I just saw another version of this drama, but it was either an explosion or earthquake that happened, and it was a daughter, not a son. I absolutely HATE the ML in both versions. He didn't know his child was dead for DAYS/WEEKS and kept pushing his child onto his wife to care for. Kuddos to the cast. Both MLs are blind, stupid, too trusting, and neglectful. I've supported both FLs in their revenge, and they get it in spades. The reveal of the child's death took longer in this version, but this ML is still blind and helping the side chick. He just can't cry until he sees the coffin, but ironically, he doesn't even see his son's corpse/coffin anyway. It's mind-boggling! This version does have a scene where the FL says it was her connections/assets that helped build the hubby to be a great doctor/surgeon so it's prophetic she is the catalyst in tearing him down. If the heavens are merciful, they won't allow this schmuck to reincarnate in her and her son's next life. His death, along with the mistress, just clinches the perfect ending. I will say this FL is more ruthless than the other version, but we can understand her point. It's a sad tale, but it will remind us to care for our loved ones and not neglect them nor allow a third person into your relationship.

The other version with the daughter that I saw had the title in Chinese so I can't find it again. My apologies. I did see the ending on that version as well. The ex hubby gets killed by a car but in that one, the wife is accepting her lawyer's marriage proposal and the ex hubby sees it. I believe the mistress is driving that vehicle as well. TBH both mistress's kids are little grifters just like their moms. It's truly disgusting.

Gostei também da outra versão onde ela tem a oportunidade de renascer. Na outra história era um terremoto na escola onde o pai passa pela menina nos escombros e vai salvar a outra menina que não era grave e ainda ele teria que procurar, sendo que a filha dele estava na frente dele presa nos entulhos. Essa versão achei mais cruel porque a menina tinha ligado pra ele pedindo socorro e ainda teve que ver ele passando por ela com a outra nos braços.

Good acting of female lead
FL had no mercy for whoever was involved directly or indirectly in her son's dead, the drama is too tragic for my taste but I was interested in FL's revenge but I had to skip parts at beginning with her son's dead.
ML is a caricature of a man, his ending was too nice, should live all his life in regret, dead was too easy for him.
The male green tea was a nice touch and a funny part in a tragic drama, I always wanted FL to pay with the same coin in green tea dramas, this drama proved that it should done more for ML to see how it feels.
The Male Green Tea had me in stitches! The look on ML's face at the gaslighting made me laugh tears!

Good drama but a lot of it was out of order.
This is the third version with similar script that I watched. The other 2 the child were daughter. First version the father is part of the rescue team for the collapsed kindergarten both kids were and he decided to saved green tea's child. Second version also collapsed building and the father is the doctor. This one is quite different because it's involved heart transplant. I have to say all of the versions are superbly done with the very hate-able husbands.
In all 3 versions xiao san claimed that despite all the efforts she made in order to seduced the husband, the husband only has the wife in his heart and the husband also said the same thing to xiao san after the divorced BUT how the way you can love someone while being wavered by another?? Action speaks LOUDER than word, apparently.
