This is my favorite Enya song. It brings me back to college days during the era of super nintendo I would lay on my bed in my dorm and listen to this while watching the autumn leaves fall.
To all who are confused about the style of the video. This video was made as part of a soundtrack that Enya wrote for a documentary on the Celts. There were many mythological stories that were told by the Celts just like Greek mythology. So this video is depicting some of that Celtic mythology.
This is my all time favourite enya song. I sometimes meditate with this playing in the background. No matter how bad a day I have this song helps me relax. No rating says how good this song really is.
It took me some years to understand something such: a Homeless Enya, with long hair, without makeup, with eyes glow, then wearing motorcycle coat, with bob hair, electric guitar, time travelling, driving a car, and blowing up another car *with her finger* ~deal with it, one of the coolest thing I've ever seen
This is probably the most peaceful song by her, in my opinion. It really, REALLY makes me think about life and our purpose here on this planet. I still remember when this came out in the 80s. I am now in my early 40s and still in love with this song and the album itself.
it was the 90s when I bought this album of the Celts. it was my soundtrack while I was writing a high school English class essay about "Tess of the D'Ubervilles" as I pictured the epic scene of her death, her reunion with Angel and the Stonehenge setting.

The very first time I have ever heard this song, which was back in the mid 80's, I was intriqued and still is. The sound and style of music was like no other that I have ever heard of before. It was just pure relaxing and nice to listen to. And today, she has drawn all kinds of fans from around the world to this style of music. Who knew she'd be this popular back then? All I can say is that I am glad to have been exposed to Enya's music early on. :)
Enya is one of the most unique artists I have listened to. She is very beautiful and has an angelic voice. I like the fact that she hasn't changed too much from herself over time. Thanks for posting this video.
One of the songs from Enya's first solo album, after leaving Clannad. This is the begining of a brilliant evolution and career, The song sounds so deep, and her voice is so magic ;)Thank you Enya for more than 20 Years of great music in a diferent style from any other Artist! ;)
A classic track from a simpler time before the World Wide Web, when telephones still had wires attached, and compact discs were new and exciting ... and people actually interacted with each other in person rather than living their life by proxy through social media and smartphones.
+Zombie Ranma yes me too. However I really don't understand any nostalgia of the times before the internet and mobile phones. As it's very simply personal choice how the one wish to spend their time. If the person is really that simple and doesn't know what to do beside spending hours on the social media it's their loss. No one chains any one to the computer people chains themselves.
"I Want Tomorrow" Dawn breaks; there is blue in the sky. Your face before me Though I don't know why. Thoughts disappearing like tears from the Moon. Waiting here, as I sit by the stone, They came before me Those men from the Sun. Signs from the heavens say I am the one. [Chorus:] Now you're here, I can see your light, this light that I must follow. You, you may take my life away, so far away. Now I know I must leave your spell I want tomorrow. [Chorus]
Such a beautifully, hantingly, ethereal song. One of my favourites from "The Celts" (also used for the BBC series of the same name). This wonderfully evocative tune is truly timeless as are all of her tracks. The album from which this comes is like a little story of wondrous mystery and intrigue unfolding and is well worth a listen in its entirety... Peace Out XD
Hauntingly Fantastic! The way Enya makes me feel when I'm listening to one of her songs. I am suddenly transported to an unknown world Enya is a treasure. Peace be with her & you exileenya.
This is from program 4 in the BBC series'The Celts',released around 1987. I was lucky enough to work on the post production of this video, and it was the first time I ever heard Enya, and have been a fan ever since. (teh series is pretty good, and now on DVD with lots of extras too)
Enya is one of my favorite musical artists and I love everything she's done, but WTH is this!? Like...did I just see this correctly...Enya, the most calming/cleanest/holiest musical artist, singing a beautiful song about hope for tomorrow while senselessly blowing up cars (that very well could have innocent people inside them) with her lightning finger powers!!!??? That seriously was the last thing I expected and I about fell over laughing! I cannot believe this exists!
I’m not a huge fan of Enya but her music is often considered to be nothing more than background music, musical wallpaper and I really feel there’s a lot more to her than that. I was listening to an interview where her music was being discussed and it opened my mind to her music. The fact that the Fuggees sampled her says a lot.
- Great to have you back! We were so worried when you had the mental breakdown. Do you feel up to directing the video for Enya now? - What do you mean? I've just finished it. - Wait what? You made it during your mental breakdown? Oh god, what did you do? - To be honest with you, I had no idea what I was doing. I think Enya crashes a car or something. - She crashes a car? Jesus! - Yeah... wait no. She doesn't. - Oh thank god! I nearly had a heart attack. - She blows one up with magic lightning from her fingers.
I'm looking at this video and I think to myself: How can you not love Enya? Not only is her music awesome and her videos fantastic, but she herself is beautiful. You cannot fail to trust her. In this video I feel as if she guides the viewers through the wonders of the world ... Just look at where she points, even if she does that only to release a burst of lightning and follow her where she goes. The fairy of music
You seemed to many of us, tired and not quite yourself, although your talent certainly showed through perfectly as always. What an extraordinarily beautiful song sung bung an extraordinary vocalist! God bless you!

Jonathan Noble I don't get the first part of your comment. When did she seem tired and not quite herself? At a concert you went to?
@@KingTriton1837 He's talking about the extraordinarily beautiful vocalist Song Sung Bung, who appeared in a vision 'to many of us' looking somewhat tired. I never saw the vision myself, but plenty of people did and almost all of them noted how tired she looked. This seems to be an important detail.
At first I though the video might be about the struggle in Northern Ireland that was happening when this video was made, but then it got a bit more abstract. I'm not sure exactly what it's about, but it was made during a time when there were a lot of bizarre music videos. It's very interesting to watch; thanks for adding the video.

Enya was very young in this video, but she's a timeless beauty and still now. I love so much this song.
Enya blowing up cars with lightning from her fingetips!? Priceless!! I'm seeing a whole new side to this woman.
This is my all time favourite enya song. I sometimes meditate with this playing in the background. No matter how bad a day I have this song helps me relax. No rating says how good this song really is.
It is funny how this music video is so outdated but this song will last eternal. One of my favorite songs of all time.
How can an angel sing in a human body?.... So beautyfull
Whatever I'm going through, ENYA brings me back down to Earth ❤

This is one of her older videos. One of my favorites. I think the grainy quality gives it a sense of mysteriousness.
Enya is like a Supernatural being. Nearly all her songs are related to the passing time and the melanchonic wanting to turn back time
