Hi Priyanka, need to know if i can get a contact person who works in Insurance domain. I have experience and certification in US property and casualty insurance. I applied pr with insurance broker occupation. vetessess sugested to use financial broker nec code. Need real guidance in this domain. Pls❤
Hi there, to be honest, I am not the right person to answer this coz it sounds like you're looking for professional guidance from someone in the insurance domain, particularly someone familiar with the Australian market, to help with your PR application and career prospects. Given your background in US property and casualty insurance and your PR application as an insurance broker, you might benefit from connecting with professionals in Australia who have experience in financial services, particularly those related to insurance. I would suggest you to find a contact person on LinkedIn. You can search for professionals in Australia who are working as insurance brokers, financial brokers, or in the financial services industry. Connecting with industry groups and forums can also help. You can also connect with people in Professional Associations or organizations such as the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) or the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA) that often have members who could provide guidance or mentorship. Hope this helps.
Hi there, thanks so much for reaching out. I will have to do a bit of a research on this as I have no idea about partner visa. I will get back to you soon but you can also visit this website and get all the information - immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/partner-offshore/provisional-309
Hi, you will get slightly less points for age. At 33 after completing your two year masters, you’ll still have a strong chance for PR in Australia. You'll get 30 points for age, and your master's plus any work experience will boost your total points. With 65+ points, you can apply for PR, and the post-study work visa will give you time to gain Australian work experience. Depends on which course you do.
@@priyanka_saluja Wonderful, thanks for sharing. I've got an admit from Monash and Macquarie University for Masters in Artificial Intelligence. The course structure isn't very different in both the uni's. Which Uni do I choose? What would be the procs and cons of choosing Monash over Macquarie? PS: I was told the curriculum at Monash is very intensive and passing courses is very difficult. PPS: I also have an admit for MS in AI from Deakin University. Also, how are the tech job opportunities in Melbourne and Sydney? I was told that the ratio of tech jobs is 1:3 between Melbourne and Sydney. Is this true? Since you've been in Australia for about six years, I'd appreciate suggestions or insights you could share.
@@Bwajster so Monash in Melbourne and Macquarie in Sydney. Since the course curriculum isn’t very different, it will come down majorly to job opportunities and the living conditions. Pros and cons of choosing Monash over Macquarie according to me would be Pros 1. Monash is in group of eight and I’ve heard that companies prefer that. I haven’t experienced this frankly. And if you have the choice, why not go for the top 8 in aus right. 2. Its in Melbourne and I think from living perspective, Melbourne is better than Sydney. Its cheaper, less crowded, less traffic, more friendly, less overwhelming. Cons 1. Like you’ve mentioned job opps but to be honest, I think landing a job comes down to your own skills. I know people who aren’t getting jobs in Sydney and I know ppl that quickly got a job in Melbourne so it all comes down to how crazily you’re applying, your approach, your mindset. I personally applied heaps but wasn’t getting a job in Melbourne so then I moved to Canberra for PR and I got job here as well as my PR. And canberra is very small and I was very scared that I’ll get a job here. But all my friends got a job in Melbourne. So its a lot to do with your luck, your approach towards applying jobs. Australia is investing a lot on AI, it’s the biggest sector on their radar right now so I think you will get a job either in Melbourne or Sydney. Currently I think you should think about which uni you feel is better. I think Monash.
The Master of Social Work (Qualifying) is on the list of occupations that are eligible for PR in Australia. Social work is in demand, particularly in regional areas, which can improve your chances of PR. Since it’s a skilled occupation, you’ll need to meet the points requirement for PR (typically around 65-70 points), but some regional areas offer additional points, which can make it easier to qualify. Additionally, social work often leads to roles that qualify for state or territory sponsorship, which can also help with PR. Be sure to check the latest occupation lists and specific state requirements, as they can change over time. If you plan to work in regional areas or are open to sponsorship opportunities, your chances for PR are quite strong!
