I just realized that I cut out the outro by accident, wanted to say that I don't blame people for throwing the game like this. It's just so common that I can't help but be frustrated by it sometimes.
EDIT: To the people saying this happens because of low rank: My greatest achievement was getting 60% winrate in top 500 while having less elims per 10 than bronze players. (according to overbuff)

I'd say go into their spawn if you can and have them all focus you. Seems like it might be an ez win if its a 3v1 and your team is pushing the payload. So 4v2 on for your team. Could even communicate to your team that they are just throwing the game, ie. wasting ults on you etc. Still that was some dogshit. They just let you win playing like that lol. I could see how its tilting though if yo end up still losing after being tortured the whole time.
It reflects why your playstyle is more about getting sneaky off angle picks over aggressively chasing picks.
With people knowing who you are they're always looking for you completely dividing their focus away from the other 4 on the team.
However when players don't know who you are they can play normally and actually make the games tougher.
I don't need to be GM to know that the bastion is hard focusing you, tunnel-visioning so hard that he didn't even tried to venn diagram ult you, straight up click three times in the same spot.
I will never understand people who use bastion ult like this.

It just sounds so weird to me that your team, that's in GM, wouldn't recognize openings when the enemy is chasing you. Similar to that part when winston jumps on you.
I guess the good thing that they know it's you is that it gives your teamates a chance to shine if they know how. For instance, at some point they were so focused on targeting you that they overlooked what the Kiriko was doing and she could capitalize on that, and so on.

like cosmos said, visual learning. He does things like positioning and movement and sonic arrow placement so much better than your average bronze hanzo you can actually pick up a lot from his gameplay just by watching him play

I can speak from experience I was on a team, and the enemy team had a well-known streamer that I didn't know at the time. My whole entire team targeted them, I lost bc of that shit. Reported them all. All they want is the 15 minutes of fame. To kill the streamer. Throwing just to kill a streamer is childish, because if you're in Grandmasters it's normal to come across the same people multiple times. People who act out like that it clear they're gold players.

This is actually similar to the treatment tanks get a lot of the time now. As soon as the enemy team decides you must be countered at all cost you are forced to just half afk the rest of the match and often you end up being more useful playing wrong. Yeah you have a pretty good chance of winning because of it but it doesn't stop it from being rage inducing.

I know it's painful, but I did get a good laugh.
I've been chased like this to the point the enemy lost because they kept leaving the point and pushing me into spawn. Though, I am a healer main, so...People really like to bully me. 😌 Nothing like winning via thirsty throwers though. You should play openly like this more often, you might just get top 1 because everyone's putting all their brain power into killing you.

Well in many situations killing the supports first is the way to go as it will help you win. But if you are hard focusing them when it isn't actually going to help you win that's really dumb. It is annoying getting hard dove tho.
I wish supports in my game would let me know if they are getting hard focused so I could peel for them, I probably should be able to notice without them mentioning it but I'm not always super aware lol.

Hanzo gets the worst of it since he relies on shooting at unaware targets. For example soldier and tracer kinda just benefit from getting chased by fans.
Hanzo has this second passive ability to hit his enemies nerves whenever he gets a kill . I just played Yesterday against a sweating tracer that I head shotted once in the first team fight so she went 100% sweating to the point where she was blinking without even knowing where the f"k she is just for me not to get the kill. Even going as far as challenging me for 1v1. And talking mad trash when the game ended (I lost that game). And that's just one of many scenarios that happens.

And since hanzo relies heavly one prediction without luck and skill hanzo can't do jack sh"t even if the target In front of him is 1hp unlike junkrat where he blast you with a grenade thrown into your general direction and you can't dodge it by any means.
if you want to don't let your emotions dominate you, I recommend in first place the practice of meditation or self hypnosis (to calm down, not every kind of hypnosis), then you should pratice your aim with workshops that use real heroes with realistic strafe movements. With the first practice you will learn about reach calm states of your mind more easily, and when practicing your aim, you need to pay attention in your breathing, it will accelerate by it self and became irregular, so then you must remember yourself to breath calmly and deep until you get used to doing it naturally. No one can beat the calm person. Last tip is: stay away from caffeine and other stimulants, especially those that increase adrenaline, because adrenaline is the worst opponent of calm emotion.

@@TheClownQueen okay, you can be ungrateful. Also zenyatta is right in all voice lines. I thought they were just cliché phrases from monks, but with practice I realized that it makes a huge difference. Being calm makes you make better decisions, and the opposite, being too emotional, makes you not even pay attention to the team's calls.

Must be rough, I have had games like that, where just by playing hanzo and doing well they follow me everywhere, and most of the time throw match just to make sure I am not getting to play. But that is not crazy often, maybe 1 in 10 1 in 8 and sometimes it is just 1 dude. So I can't imagine how annoying that would be for you, prob like every 1 in 3 or 2 or some nonsense. Yeah, games with a god Hanzo/widow are by far the most unfun ones. Then there are games with a good ball. These ones are so annoying too. Games with that 3 chars (and good players!!) are the worst.
Bro bastion and zen covering fire is oht of this world, they'd rather send orbital bombardment to your location rather than even think about the payload

I'm no big strimmer, but this happens to me too after a long day of playing because people get tilted and want to hard focus me x) what they dont know tho is that i have 7 years of support in my belt so i can survive in some of the weirdest situations.
I dont stream or anything, but I am basically a soft genji one trick in t500. A lot of people know me and do the most to play their offmains just to counter me. I can relate to an extent.
U try to outsmart people and play in different ways than normal everyday hanzo players. Also, solo hanzo can be killed easier than almost all support heroes. Yesterday, i played ashe in diamond. The enemy doom was noticeably focusing me, especially with his ultimate, although i have ana, for instance. In the end, he posted his Twitch stream, and i went to his channel to see if he was really coming for me or not (claimed top500 in his bio, idk who he is). I just outplayed him once and ran away (i think i killed 2 and then played Bob, who killed 1, also). He was angry and was looking for me and saying ohhh there he is and choosing me between 2 support and me or dive, then solo ult me. Now, why kiriko and ana can't peel for ashe vs. a sole doom is different, but sometimes outplaying people make them rage and come for u.
And you know that guy went Winston because he's a meta lemming that remembers when Winston was considered a Hanzo hardcounter.
Is there an option to report people for stream sniping? That Bastion literally threw all his ults away. Or does this just fall under griefing?

i pick widow im instantly jumped by sombra winston lucio genji ulting mercy. Enemy picks widow they have free range to sit back and headshot my clueless teammates that refuse to dive her as dive heroes
pick genji and the other team go winston mei sombra moira before i even get any elims. enemy genji gets free range to get 40 elims with no switches to counters
apparently getting more than 5 elims shatters ow players egos and then 3 of them hard focus me while my team lose a 4v2

Deepest respect and gratitude. I am not a Hanzo player and I experienced this everytime I play. I mainly solo and usually use Reaper, Genji, Pharah, and Tracer for both Unranked Play matches and Ranked Play. My top three heroes are Reaper, Genji, and Reinhardt. I am new to this game however I played FPS before. Still newb when it comes to FPS Strategy such as Overwatch
Before Overwatch 2, I played Paladins. Many OW veterans say Paladins is more interesting. It is challenging but I wouldn't recommend the game for beginners. 5 Loadout Slots in Paladins are very complex to understand when applied in the actual battlefield. Paladins I played in PC, as well as OW2 currently
I didn't know Streamer Mode in OW but sounds more enjoyable and exciting. I don't mean any offence in terms of skill as it's a personal aim towards why the person play the game in the first place. I mainly Solo Queue both Unranked and Ranked. This game is suggested for parties to have fun together. Solo players out there, add some contacts to join the game together. It will be more fun

can't you just communicate that w/ your team? A simple heads up that they're focusing you would probably push the match into your team's favor. Maybe we don't see / hear it in the videos, but it seems like there isn't much communication w/ the rest of your team.
Nahh not worth it to confuse my team. At best they would overcommit to helping me. Worst case scenario they can't adapt anyways but I try to play more aggressively and get picked off and we lose
They are just conditioning you to play passively and going for the final fight. It's what I do as reddit Lucio, sure I'm just diamond, but its a strategy that works when you know which players are playing smart. Distracting the playmakers is really powerful, as each second they waste time looking at me is another moment my team has with extra safety. But getting into someone's head and tilting them is the easiest way to win. As a content creator when you are the target it sucks, as while the game will be complicated, it is almost never fun to watch. Good luck Arrge you are awesome :)

This only works if, like in your example, it's one Lucio conditioning one or more strong opponents and not giving up too much in the process.
In this case, the other team was legitimately committing an unnecessary amount of resources to try and kill a single Hanzo. (And often failing, anyways.) Bastion solo ulted him THREE TIMES. Solo ulting a Hanzo is one of the worst things you can do with Bastion ult - 99% of the time it will accomplish absolutely nothing.
It's like if you do the Reddit Lucio style and end up with the most deaths on your team and the least elims. You've essentially failed in your role at that point, because you spent half the game respawning and getting no kills.

Streamer mode hides your btag from your stream-audience. Not from your in-game lobby (friendly's or enemies).Hiding it is just client side. No changes for anyone else.
I don't know why, but it happens to me like 6 in a 10 games. Every Hanzo considers it his duty to shoot only with me after his first death in the head, almost always against me either Pharah with Mercy pocket, or Genji, or Sombra and Tracer. I'm so tired of this

Ana’s cooldowns are op. Save at least 1 for if u are ever in trouble, unless it is definitely worth it to blow both at once.
i play more bap but sence you are a "sniper" try to be far if they going out of their way to hunt you down then get closer to your team so if anything happends you jump to them and they can protect you/kill him and keep one of the cooldowns ready especially the sleep dart
Yeah i did save my nade and sleep when i see the enemy go for sombra or tracer but i can only see sombra after she hack and shot me to death, i can deal with tracer somehow but if she ult i can't do a thing but thank for your tip @@Crakinator

Try to stay out of range of divers' abilities. In other words, make them have to waste cooldowns to get to you. Ana is a sniper, so you can play far back. For example, play far enough that you force a Winston to have to use his jump to close the gap on you. That leaves him without an escape ability, and your team can then turn on him. Same principle with Tracer. Keep your ears peeled for where she is and rotate away from her. And again same idea with Genji, force him to have to dash to you to close the distance. The other thing I would say against divers is save your cooldowns for yourself (at least one of them, preferably both), not for your teammates. You can heal your team with primary/scoped fire, and keep sleep and nade for yourself.
Finally, hopefully your teammates turn around to help you if you do all that. Oh and don't hang around after sleeping a target if you don't have the resources to finish them off alone. Move away from them and towards your team.
I peaked m2 for what it's worth, so take this advice as you will haha.

A lot of this is just Hanzo things. People lose their shit against hanzo and froth at the mouth. They just run around focusing you all game long. The fact that blizzard keeps nerfing the character doesn't help at all when he's already a glass cannon.

most people aren't watching the stream. they recognize him in game by name and hard focus him then. he normally plays on his account with the russian name so nobody knows who he is, but i'm pretty sure he switched the name back to arrge for the experiment.

It’s quite crazy but arrge doesn’t look like a high level player, I think it’s just because he doesn’t make flashy fast plays, but I’m not a high level player at all and if you showed me his clips and didn’t show the rank or the player, from the speed and how “boring” it is id assume he was in like diamond or another low rank, it’s quite strange
