there is a decent damage (around 437 ish) corner loop that is not to bad execution wise:
any starter -> 5B -> 2S -> 4S -> 5MS ~ S -> 5S -> Fully Charged 5S -> Full Charge 5S -> 4S -> 5MS ~ S -> 5S -> Fully Charged 5S -> Fully Charged 5S -> 4S -> 214MS or super.
only weird part is that when you start the charge on the second Full Charged 5S depends how high they are floated by asta from the 5MS ~ S. If they are higher, you will need to delay it more
ending with 214MS allows for a safejump j.B/double overhead/overhead low that leads into the same loop as long as you have mana
I will check it out
Thanks, MC Mura! While I wait to get home to actually play it, this is really helping me piece together DNF's combo system!
My only issue is her damage output compared to others 😩😩😩😩 I love her otherwise and often opt to just go for simple stuff and rely on mix ups and footsies
Yeah. At least the combos so far seem to be lesser compared to others in the cast. But I think her fly and air dash has a lot of potential for more combo extension and is a unique movement tool that nobody else has. She seems like she's really good and still has a lot left to be uncovered.
I found some really good damage routes mid screen so its just a matter of time. You are right though, the rest of the cast does more damage with no effort whatsoever
@@the_lastshin2189 yep. ima just grind it out with crusader and hitman, and dabble with dragon knight in the lab for a while
@@galensexton6060 Bro lol I have the tech. Believe me😂
She can get way more than what this video is showing. I think this video is to help beginners get on their feet.
Nice video, first video I've seen of yours.
I like how it is all text, uses the game notation, and especially like how you replay the combo but at a slower speed. It helped me understand how her combo structure works.
I learned a ton in 4 minutes.
Thanks a lot, i appreciate it
Thank you sir! Putting in the grind!
3:48 I think you missed 4S before 5MS. Thanks for your video.
I'm just here for the js combos
Is it me or does it seem like this character has to work pretty hard for tiny combo damage? Maybe it's because she's very oppressive in neutral.
Pretty good neutral buttons I'd say but yeah, for a character with a lot of flashy moves she does okay damage at best. The sheer difference between comboing into Dragon's Bite (4M) and doing it raw is staggering.
Nah she does shit damage for sure with combos
I feel like her range is also so stumpy but that's just because every other character in this game has like fuckin fullscreen normals.
@@JamiTake2 abuse the dragon and qcf MS
@@freshlymemed5680 I don’t understand why people think she has good neutral buttons… like her standing medium is garbage for range and it whiffs in a blockstring at max range after 5LL
The one thing I don't understand is at 1:20 with the optimal variety of the mid screen combo, sometimes the Astra doesn't do the follow up. Is it a timing thing, or?
That means you either ran out of MP gauge or you didn't press the followup button for Astra's summon quickly enough. Its a pretty right window.
Make sure you press the X then triangle buttons as quick as possible
Great video! Looking forward to launcher and striker if you could do them too?!
Comment for support. Thanks MCM!
Thank you so much
I dont know if you notated it wrong or I'm just obtuse but isn't it supposed to be 5a, 5a, 5b, 2b? At 0:21
would be a good video but i dont understand the 5a, 2b lettering stuff. im that simple person with just A and B following a directional input.
I am sorry, just that the numpad notations are very common among anime games players
Sorry if dumb question but exactly does the number before the letter means? Have not play fighting games for years but decided to pick this up
Those are numpad notations, like the ones in keyboards. (8 = up, 6= right, 2= down, 4= left, 5 is neutral since its in the middle part of a numpad) what i don't get are the letters beside them
Nice bro. Can u do troubleshooter next plz I'm wait your guide
Sure
Games cool. Lobby's suck though
What editing software did you use for this video?
Adobe premier
at 1:43 how do you get the fireball to come out?
Just press the B button after press MS to summon the dragon. If you are on PS that's X then triangle immediately or A then Y immediately on xbox/pc
@@MCMuraFGC thank you kindly!
Pllzz try to do kunoichi combo number 7 , tok me 5 hours to land the last hit !! And i still dont know how
I will check it out
I don't understand these. What is 5a? Like do I press A 5 times? What is this > ?
I'm just so confused. Man I shouldn't have bought this lol
@@ryuhayabusa3540 There's a formula used in the fighting game community to showcase inputs and combos easily.
7 8 9
4 5 6
1 2 3
The numbers are the direction you should hold the stick while pressing the button, or if it's 5 that would be neutral so leave your stick in the center. For example 2S would be hold down and press slash. Hope that makes sense, and keep practicing!
Definitely check out the combo mode in the tutorial in the game. They list the combos differently. Once you compare the way the two are written it'll make sense. Don't let it intimidate you. Hope you enjoy the game
Yeah its the numpad notation. Very common in anime games
Can you break this down for a more basic fighting game player?
Throwing 2s 5 fdsaoijun945u8bt08her0uf2r out there does nothing for newbies like me.
Fighting game notation is a universal thing you can easily get an explanation for by googling. If every combo guide had to spend minutes explaining the notation that would be like every recipe on the internet needing to to explain what cups and teaspoons are.
@@Dew345 You are absolutely right. Last night, in a rage filled fury, I went to Dragon Knight combos. I had just gotten rammed by a Launcher, Hitman, and Ranger, and it had me wondering why in every thing that is holy, would they add marksman in a fighting game??? So this was said in rage, but I did go to a video just after this one and at least he explained what the numbers meant and didn’t go straight into it. Assuming players know these things is a far stretch and even a 10-15 sec explanation would have sufficed. All good though, again my bad XD
This game on ps4 ?
Yep
Idk how to read the inputs can someone tell me what’s he saying
Looking up FGC notation on Google and look at the images. The numbers are basically the direction you press, while after it is the button. Example is 2MS. 2 means down, MS is the magic button.
Idk man, fighting game with weapons doesn't really interest me that much.
I get what you mean. Most characters in anime fighters use weapons, so I always pick the martial artist dude who fights bare-knuckle with ki attacks like Enkidu in Under Night
@@halogen5076 yes. They took so much space in a relatively small ring. It's distracting to say the least. Not forgetting the visual effects they added on each attack and hit. 😔
@@halogen5076 I'm a fan of the guy that has a lizard and kicks hoes around. He's fun.
