I for one love the videos, you and a couple other creators got me interested in this game bc your videos make it look that fun BECAUSE you arent going out of your way to min/max or have a perfect run, ur just messin around with what the game gives ya (and teaching me how to play at the same time) i bought the game for the first time yesterday and ive already done diamond runs for 2 weapons 🙂 (the sniper and the lazer guns)
35:10 If you go to a "Luck" portal, you'll might get a power that will instant reload with elimination. If you had that with this gun, you would shoot for ever. BTW love your videos, continue making them!!!
Eh that upgrade is super mid on low damage weapons like this, the more ammo it takes to kill the worse that upgrade is and the better the efficuency one is instead, super simple trick but knowing it saves you from wasting a slot trying to get both or just the wrong one
I always recommend taking Hot Shot over Sharp Shooter at this level where you are already very good at avoiding getting hit (and some armor just in case). Much higher crit chance!
It gets SO boring after the first hour or just first few loops depending how fast you are going, gets to a point where sure you are oneshotting everything BUT if anything hits you even once its basically game over
I find it really interesting that you prefer the dual pistols to the dual shotguns, and even seemingly the auto shotgun. I dislike dual weapons in general since I heavily use the slow-mo to improve dodging in the air, not to mention hitting distant targets without ADS. I find the Dual pistols the most annoying since they require precise aim to be feasible and prevent precise aim at the same time. To be fair, this is probably much less of a problem on mouse and keyboard than controller

Double edge sword perk is awful, you dont even gain your dmg as crystal but lose 20% crystal per hit. That's spike chest, single fire tick, lava pool tick. Basically unless it is ultra late game(god run 2 loops in), it is always net negative to get that perk.
Even then tbh.. especially then actually, late game it gets hard to see enviromental threats like lava and shit so its MUCH easier to slip up and lose all your crystals
Gotta disagree with that. By late game crystals shouldn’t be an issue really. You should have decent enough upgrades to not have to worry about buying stuff. And if you are struggling chances are you’re not going to get the job done anyway.
Sniper crabs have ruined my runs more than anything else and I hate them with a passion. And critical lightning is one of the run winning perks in my opinion. It’s just completely OP.
Really ANY of the lightning perks in my experience, everyone says lightning is mid but the map wide millions of dps you can get with it says otherwise. Just a couple of lightning perks and some lightning chance for your shots and suddenly every gun in the game can make super hard difficulties melt
It hurt my soul to watch you take escalating shot over a juiced. Even by the end of your run it was making your build worse than if you had not picked up anything.

Leth heres a tip, with sturdy totems if you drop it then pick it up after each use you get infinite totems!
My favourite thing about this game is how the Dev gives you hundreds of different ways to snap the game in half and its awesome.

You know, if you use the grapple hook there’s often more crystals on the top of Island 3 and sometimes a random chest!

I could be wrong but my experience with escalating shot is the same across all weapons. You might perhaps be thinking about wind up shot?

Auto shotgun is fun, one of my favorites so far. Up there in my top 5 with the lazer cannons, the minigun, sniper and the uh dual pistols
