How I use red mist is just spamming vertical for s and finishing everyone with onrush for the boost

You can combo with clicks and split vertical to not only gain s and kill but also save spear and onrush.
And also better save EGO until you have 25% remaining of HP because it will give you a whole 80% of dmg reduction.

Use red mist on maps with no elevation or fall spots, like woodworks (kind of). On maps with fall spots, like beta-islands i recommend mihawk.
