As for the band themselves, Di-rect are a rock band from The Hague, the Netherlands, and they started out in 1999. The current line-up consists of Jamie Westland (drums), Frans "Spike" van Zoest (guitar), Bas van Wageningen (bass), Paul Jan Bakker (guitar), and Marcel Veenendaal (lead vocals). I have seen this live, people crying in the audience. Marcel was extremely high that show. At 1 point could nit sing. And the band kept playing. The show ended with this song that day. Only Spike on guitar and Marcel singing. It was magnificenr. Even with a shorter show 😂😂

The lead singer's name is Marcel Veenendaal, Who replaced Tim Akkerman when he decided to leave the band.
