Many of them end their journeys at the terminals in Northern New Jersey, with some going as far as Philadelphia, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Uniden BC75XLT’s are the best models you can get for cheap. The antenna they come with is okay but wears out after a few years.

@@ArturoRailProductions thank you for the feedback... interesting that you mention the antenna wears out after a few years - i didnt know that could happen. Is there a different antenna that you would recommend? I wont be attaching the antenna to my car or home - just the scanner itself.

I use a Uniden BC125AT Bearcat Scanner with a Diamond RH77 antenna. I also have a car mounted antenna, but that set up works very well.
