Can you share what the original tune name is for each of these songs? I think Present tense is “Frere Jacques” but I’m struggling to name the others…thanks for your help!
The Latin songs are all CC branded songs. I didn’t make them up. I’m really not sure of the tunes. We’ve been singing them so long, they have just become a part of us.
I found it on the Cc connected forums! I was so confused about imperfect tense, it didn’t sound familiar. I like to write the original tune on my flash cards so I remember where to start, otherwise I sing frere Jacques for all of them 🤦🏻♀️. Present: Frere Jacque Imprefect: Mary had a Little Lamb Future: 3 Blind Mice Perfect: Farmer in the Dell Pluperfect: London Bridges Future Perfect: Happy Birthday
I had to play around with the new website a little. From what I gather, the ‘new CCC’ is located under forums. I haven’t played with how to look things up yet. We are all on a learning curve this year.
Technically, all you need to ask for the prompt is “Tell me the first conjugation endings for PERFECT TENSE.” I really should have edited perfect present off of the cue card. The conjugal example in our CC Foundations guide is in perfect present tense. Perfect present tense is SUBJ + have/has + ___ed. If we use the infinitive verb ‘to pack,’ it would be translated as I have packed, you have packed, he/she/it has packed, we have packed, you have packed, they have packed. Perfect PAST tense is SUBJ + had + ____ed. Perfect FUTURE tense is SUBJ + shall have + ____ed. Tense distinctions are, in my opinion, the most difficult thing to master in Essentials. It doesn’t matter so much in English, but in Latin it is definitive to the meaning. A student of Latin becomes a master of English. I hope all of this helps.
I just loaded them into the new CC Connected…I think I did it correctly, anyway. Let me know if you can’t find them and I will be happy to send them to you via another method.
@@KristiGaddy I found them and have printed them. I am so excited about these. I also purchased the drawing book you mentioned in one of your videos. I am looking forward to pushing myself to learn to draw simple images. Thank you so much for all your hard work and sharing to encourage and inspire the rest of us. I have subscribed and am eager to learn. As you say, happy learning!
@@judabrisfam7604 I just love this message! You have figured out the secret of homeschool…have fun!! I pray that the Lord blessed your school year richly this year!
How wonderful!! Thank you!
Brilliant. Thank you
I have a set of these helps, and everything is the same except there are socks for pluperfect. Any idea what the help is with that?
Hmmm….maybe stinky socks so you need to “eram” out?

Do we need to be a part of your community to find the resources on cc connected?
No. As long as you are in a CC Community you can access anything I have loaded in CCC. My name is Kristi Gaddy.

I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Do we just look up Latin charts?
Did you download your science charts too??????

Hi! Love these! But question, How are you getting Perfect Present tense? It's actually Perfect Tense (technically Perfect past)?
Thank you!

I LOVE this!!! Are these charts available to download and print. At least as a black and white image so we can color?
