    Brushes are the items that I’ve never held true to using only high end as I’ve found many great quality brushes in many lower price points. I’d heard so much praise for the wet n Wild brushes that I picked up the holiday !30 set thinking not much lost if no good. A couple were good but I wound up giving my ten year old the set to use with her play makeup. Maybe they had been built up so high that my expectations were unattainable tho the real technique brushes, moda, crown brushes have been great and of course the Wayne Gods for high end are just amazing. Continuing to enjoy the daily uploads!

    The flat shader eyeshadow brush (especially the smaller one with the longer bristles) is perfect for cream eyeshadows. I have about five of them and use them all the time for that purpose. They also work great to spray with setting spray and then pack on color to create more intensity.

    I bought a set of 10 Wet ‘n Wild makeup brushes with rose gold handles for $15 at Walgreens before Christmas, and I love it, especially for the price. I also picked up 2 extra sets for my niece and my mom. Plus, I have several of these pink tipped brushes I’ve picked up over time at Dollar Tree. Very thorough presentation. 😊♥️

    I love these videos where you review drugstore brushes. I recently purchased some brushes from Joah Beauty. I hadn’t tried much from the brand before. I was reasonably impressed. Prices are nice (eye brushes are $4) and I like them much better than WnW personally. They don’t have a lot of selection, but I’m hoping they will expand the line.

    From their original line I love their angled contour brush, eye crease brush, and the small concealer brush is great for inner corner and browbone highlight, I own a few of each. Their flat top brush shed a lot when I first used it but it stopped after I washed it and it works really well for foundation. Their flat eyeshadow brushes are nice too for packing on shimmer shadows and their angled liner brush is actually very nice for gel liner and brows too bc it's very thin and precise. I also have their large concealer brush but don't really have a use for it.
    Edit: I forgot to mention their smudge brush or 'smokey liner' I think it's called, it's too firm, thin and pokey for smudging under the eye but it may work for tightlining.

    I used the powder brush from the white to Pink line for bronzer, it's a nice dense brush that blends out my bronzer well. I can't do anything with the fan brush though, it's so skinny and leave such a sharp edge that I hate it.

    The white handle brush, the blending brush one, they changed it I'm so mad. I bought a new 1 the other day and it's like half the size and not as fluffy and too soft! The old 1 I have seems similar to the pro ones! I'm wondering if they changed it because they never had the pro brush line out when I bought my old fluffy brush from them. Idk but they changed it for the worse that's for sure! I'm glad I only paid 99 cents on sale at Walgreens because it's nothing like my old 1 that I'm so glad I have and is still in great shape but I wanted another that was the same so when I needed a clean brush I'd have it, but I guess I'll have to check out the pro one even though I haven't seen them in any stores around me. Maybe I'll buy the entire pro kit when I have the $ because it looks nice!

      Lori Young what happened?

    • @loriyoung653
      @loriyoung653 5 років тому +1

      @@brittnye2865 I ordered my package and was paid for the same day, all by 11 am California time. 15 business days later it still hadn't even been sent from the warehouse. When I called I was told I would have to wait four more days before they could even look for it and that the post office "likes to forget to scan things". So I called the post office who said the package had never been received. The woman from the post office told me "I guarantee you the next thing you will hear is that they can reissue a package to you using the same tracking number. But we don't do that. We would issue a new tracking number so if two showed up you could send the other back." So I called back and the same girl answered. I asked for a supervisor because we were at 15 business days, the post office said it had never been received, and I was being told I had to wait another four business days before the company could even begin to look for the package. Immediately the girl says to me "I can have another package reissued to you. We will just use the same tracking number." Which meant it had been generated but never printed. The supervisor was "in a very important meeting" but would email me after talking to the warehouse. The package finally showed up two days later (a week ago) after having been sent 2 day priority, the "first package" has never shown up (because it was never sent) and to this day, the supervisor has never emailed me.

      Lori Young wow! I have that happen to me all. The. Time. The post office situation, usually not online companies. They either never actually scan my packages for pick up or delivery, or the put the packages in an area that gets stolen, or they say it’s in the mail box but it’s in someone else’s box, or they forget to put the key in my box to get it. -_-

      @@brittnye2865 Every single time I have ordered from Wet n Wild, there has been an issue. And every single time I've called, they blame everyone else. Post office, postal carrier that pucked up the package, or it was left on the truck... Or some reason. They are lazy there. There is zero reason a package should take nearly a calendar month to arrive. The order was placed and paid for on a Monday by 11 am their time. It should have gone out that same day.
