Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.
I am the founder of Vocaltutor, (founded 2003) the UK’s largest vocal and singing tuition network and now The New Foundry Studios which opened in 2013.
I have worked with BBCTV on Just the Two of Us, with many celebrities including Natasha Hamilton of Atomic Kitten, plus has worked for ITV on many children’s TV programmes including The Worst Witch, as their vocal coach.

Amy has such a unique voice that’s instantly recognizable! So pure and so beautiful. This is epic!
Especially since she doesn't have the most smooth talking voice. She gives me goosebumps and there's so much emotion she conveys. A lot of singers can sing technically well but can't reach the emotions like Amy can.

You NEED to see the livestream version of Amy's duet with Lzzy Hale! The song is called "Break In" and the performance was recorded some time in May, i believe. Those harmonies and the way their voices blend and mix is incredible! I accidentally threw my phone across the room in amazement when i first listened to it - talk about a strange visceral reaction.. xD

I have this song on repeat and the power in "I don't need drugs" gets me every time! I can't sing a single note in tune but studied music for 15+years and really love the power and story to songs and the true emotion of this shines through
Evanescence Synthesis, the tour. The actual tour and the audio from the tour is available, there's also an studio album available too. Synthesis is unique in it's own rights by taking their classic songs, deconstructing....and piecing them back together in an orchestral arrangement and electronica elements. I don't know what's more impressive with Synthesis, what they managed to achieve production wise, or Amy's voice, not stopping, or choking once....for over 60minutes, even if you don't make a video reacting to this...you won't be sorry you watched it

Omg, I was waiting for you to make videos on some more rock vocalists like Amy Lee! Also would be great if you did a reaction to Falling In Reverse, Ronnie Radke is one of the best male vocalists in the genre and their music is getting quite a lot of traction. Also Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless is a very good vocalist as well

Georgina - Floor's primarily known for Symphonic and Progressive Metal, but she's not restricted by genre. She's classically-trained, so she can do anything from Operatic to Death Metal growling. She's done rock albums plus video game soundtracks, Country and can sing in (I think) 8 languages. She's Dutch, but fluent in English and Swedish. She's Mrs Versatility. But I absolutely adore Amy's collaboration with Japan's Wagakki Band "Sakura Rising".

Love their recent album The Bitter Truth. You should react to their latest shows. If you re into her ballads, she wrote one for the new album called “Far from heaven” where she questions her faith due to her younger brother passing, who suffered severed epilepsy. She performed it on a live show with cellist Dave Eggar who usually performs on Evanescence’s acoustics. You ll love it

i like Evanescence quite a bit, but i do feel that this video showcases Amy's voice better, the violin leaving more space for her voice, the emotion to shine through.
For the same reason, if you havent listened to Lindseys session with Gabby Barrett - I Hope it is well worth a listen, the mainstream versions just seem to bury the voice and the impact is lost.
I would also recommend a comparison of two versions of Creep by Radiohead, the original vs Gamper & Dadoni feat. Ember Island Remix, the shift to such a delicate female voice really changed the impact it had on me.
